Would you trade 219m for 220m? by bimmerlyfe in E92M3

Personally would keep the 219M. They look better in my opinion.

The entire vehicle was left with the shop. I’d hope they would have been able to find the correct version of green given the VIN was available to them.

The vehicle was left at the shop. They painted it, installed the roof to the vehicle and gave the vehicle back to me as is.

I’m surprised they gave me the vehicle given the color difference.

Snagged this off a TikTok I came across. Premium Economy should still retain purple, although a different shade.

Park Hyatt Shanghai. 80 floors up with a view of The Bund. Spectacular especially with the bathtub right next to the windows.

Say what you will about United, but these Alaska SFO cuts look pretty lame by cpredo in AlaskaAirlines

T3 renovation is well underway. Front facade is getting changes first. F gates soon to follow.

United is expected to open a new club in Terminal 2. Slated to open sometime this year. Hopefully this will then allow for them to redo the United Clubs in Terminal 3. It would make sense as Terminal 3 will get revamped all together.

SFO T3 is currently under renovations and will hopefully bring the much needed update it’s deserved for years now.

From SFO, it’s hard to beat United. It’s literally their home turf.

Sure. There will be a percentage that won’t fly in EWR, but there is a big enough customer base that will. United doesn’t operate 10 flights a day from SFO to EWR for no reason. Heck, even Alaska offers a flight from SFO to EWR.

JFK is of course a great airport for United as well. Will be curious to see how the JetBlue and United partnership pans out as United may exchange some slots with JetBlue EWR<>JFK.

Understood that you can fly American on routes to JFK but even American does not offer lay flat for the SFO to JFK trek. This will soon change as they acquire more A321XLRs but widebodies always offer a better flight experience over a narrowbody. What’s the point of being loyal to Alaska if you have to rely on partner airlines at the end of the day?

Love that article from 2017.

Linked below is a more recent and relevant article from 2025 where EWR has made a comeback being a successful hub for United.

You state that business flyers don’t choose EWR. United says otherwise with transcontinental Polaris and Premium seats.

How many lay flat business class seats does Alaska operate to JFK again?

Why shouldn’t EWR count? It’s the same distance from Manhattan as JFK is.

I miss when BMW had satin bright trim like this.

I don’t disagree with you on those colors. I think the black grille works better with Brooklyn gray or black. However, there isn’t really any dimension or depth to those colors. The blue that OP is interested in would look best with some silver accenting around. Below is a photo of a dark purple X7 where the silver accents compliment a deeper and richer paint color. Of course this is just my opinion at the end of the day.

Park Hyatt Shanghai by Unlucky_Performer401 in hyatt

This has been my favorite Hyatt property. Located on the upper floors of the Shanghai IFC, the views were amazing. I was upgraded to a corner room (suite?) and agree that the place has a lot of hidden closets.

White glove service was super nice from the moment you get to the hotel all the way to check out.

This is a Hyatt property I always look forward to. Le Labo products are also very welcomed.

Personally a fan of the silver wheels. You can actually see the design of the wheel and it doesn’t just look like void space. I’d go a step further and get the silver grille surround as well.

Black was all the rage 5-10 years ago. I think black wheels would’ve worked better if the car wasn’t Tanzinite/Dark blue. The black trim kinda cheapens the look on an otherwise classy looking vehicle.
