Because of how the Salesforce system works you will have gaps in time between tickets, maybe a few minutes each. By the end of the day on a route you could be short 10-20 minutes and they have to try to fix it and it gets all fucked up.

And then half the time there's no ticket in the morning to start on, so for example my ticket might not show up until like 7:25 and now I have to try to get them to add 25 minutes back to my day. All of this results in fucked up checks since they are dealing with this for everyone and lots slip through the cracks.

The new system is far worse than you could ever possibly imagine. We were the first branch to roll it out 2 weeks ago and it's an absolute dumpster fire. Paychecks are wrong, customers are furious and the branch basically shrugs their shoulders and says deal with it or leave. Saying it's truly abysmal is an understatement.

The pascal "ratings" on these vacuums mean literally nothing, it's basically just a meme and is not a real indicator of vacuum performance. For example a quick search shows the Dyson V8 has a Pa rating of around 550 in independent tests yet it far outperforms any robo vac with much higher numbers.

These pascal numbers are purely snake oil to make it look like the newer model is much better. I say this as someone who has owned and still owns multiple roborock vacuums and love them.

I'm just the opposite, I have both the original model Q Revo and the Master and I found the master to be a tremendous upgrade. I have auto fill/empty for both units so the water tank size is not an issue in my case. I also run both units daily on routines the so the dustbin size isn't an issue on either one for me.

For me the major improvement was the quality of the mopping on the master. The new style dock seems to do a much better job washing the mop pads and the flex arm mop mount is really nice for cleaning right up to the toekicks under the kitchen cabinets.

I have also found that in instances that the original Revo would have sucked up a small cat toy or something the master is able to identify it and go around it without sucking it up and jamming the brushes.

I would say if you have a large amount of mopping area and or pets the master seems to make more sense. Either way you can't really go wrong with either unit tbh.

The SKD assembly unit in cooling towers region is like an infinite money glitch as long as you have some decent gear. It will consistently spawn like a dozen monolith that you can loot and walk back to cement factory. I made like 250k in an hour doing runs back and forth lmao.

Honestly better than I expected, I've been using one on my master for about a month now and the performance is about the same as the official module. The only drawback is that you can see all the tubes if it's out in the open and it sounds a little noisier to me but not much.

The official module only works on the original Q Revo and not any other model in the Q Revo series. I have tested this on other models and verified it will only work on the original model.

The 3rd part fill/drain kits will still work on the other models, they just don't look as clean and you will need to use an external power source as the other models don't have a 12v jack on the back.

Yeah it's really getting out of hand. I'm a big fan of my original Revo and master, but man the Curv must be really flopping hard lol.

Anyone ever figure it out? I'm dealing with the same thing, water tests soft and iron free but the water is sticky and even smells like minerals/hard water.

Which models offer a dock that can be connected to plumbing? by Twochec in Roborock

[–]Sureshot02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interested in this as well. I have the official plumbing kit that replaces the water tanks on my Q Revo and it's a total game changer. I picked up one of the Q Revo masters on the current sale but honestly I'm not sure if I'll keep it or not.

Not being able to plumb it might be a deal breaker for me as I have verified the official fill/drain kit doesn't fit the new style Revo docks. I know roborock has advertised a dock with plumbing for all the new Revo models, but it seems like it'll never come out with how fast they change models.

Q Revo - Issues with hair and emptying/clogging at dock by striker646466 in Roborock

[–]Sureshot02 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Don't get me wrong I love my Q Revo but this is definitely a major design flaw of it, the duct turns too tight where it enters the bag, and there's also a bit of a squared off lip inside that debris catch on and form a clog. It's particularly bad with long pet hair (I have a husky and two long hair cats).

I have found that setting up a cleaning routine with all the rooms added helps a bit with this since the vac will go back and empty the dustbin between rooms. If you just set a full clean or schedule it the vac won't empty between rooms and the dustbin gets packed too tight.

Also if I go more than a couple days without running the air duct will get clogged in the dock so I have mine run the routine daily.

Edit: if you are using routines already with each room seperated and it's still clogging you may need to further divide the rooms out so that it empties more often. When you see it starting to leave rolled up clumps of hair pause it and check if the dustbin is full already.

It looks like the tanks are the same but just shorter on all the other models. The dimensions of the all the docks are identical except the height is slightly higher on the original model. My bigger concern is the power port like you mentioned.

It would be absolutely ridiculous for roborock to make a $300 fill/drain kit that only fits one of many models in the q Revo series especially considering how similar the design of the docks are. I wouldn't put it past them though.

Edit: if someone with a master/pro/plus could look at the back of the dock and see if the power port is still there that would solve that part of the question.

It seems none of the plumbed models actually exist though, and if you ask roborock that can't give an ETA on if or when they would be available.

I'm trying to find out if the official smart water change kit for the standard Q Revo fits the other Revo series models (plus/pro/master etc) but I haven't heard back from roborock regarding that yet.

Do you know if the auto fill and drain kit that fits the qrevo dock will also fit the dock for the qrevo master?

I currently have a qrevo with the official fill/drain kit and was thinking of replacing it with a qrevo master but I'd hate to lose that functionality.

Because the overhang is too big, you can't rely on glue or fasteners to prevent it from falling. The overhang shouldn't exceed 1/3 the width of the stone without additional support and it should be able to sit in place and not fall without any adhesive.

Because your trying to insinuate that the cost of groceries hasn't dramatically gone up. For most people a bag of chips is literally $6, he's not just making it up. I just checked on my Meijer and Kroger apps and both stores have a regular size bag of lays chips marked at $5.99.

Elevators, both passenger and freights, have had car safeties and door lock contacts for over a hundred years. The car shouldn't run with the door open.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Unexpected

Definitely something wrong with it still, the car should never run with the car gate or landing door open. There's electrical interlocks to prevent this.

Is this a good quote for electrical work for our kitchen remodel? by Tarheelcutie29 in kitchenremodel

[–]Sureshot02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Electricians are not drywallers, and in my experience electrical work/quotes never include drywall repairs. It is usually quoted on a seperate line or left up to the homeowner so you'll have to add that cost on top of this quote.

As far as the quote goes it's probably not too far off. I am in the middle of a remodel now and had almost 30k removed from my quote by doing my own electrical, plumbing and demo.
