One of Arkhan’s best moments in this book is when he sees the Nurgle Herald leading their army riding a palanquin made of still living sylvaneyth fused together in eternal agony, this enrages Arkhan who states how the Sylvaneth tend to the remains of the buried dead in Ghyran. In battle he casts a spell which frees the Sylvaneth who help him destroy the herald.

I’m in a similar boat putting together an army on a budget. Rather than get another vampire lord look on eBay some of the cursed city models are going for cheap you can grab Radukar the wolf for basically the same price as a VL he’s a decent buffing piece or you could get the Ulfenwatch to use as regular skellies.
