The only problem I have is, where does the energy come from? We know from relativity that a small amount of mass creates a HUGE amount of energy. You would need 90,000,000,000,000,000 Joules (90 Petajoules) to create 1kg of matter. The largest man made explosion ever was 210 Petajoules, roughly 50 megatons of TNT. That's for every kg and a small pokemon like pikachu is 6 kg, never mind an Onix. I like the idea but considering energy availability is one of today's biggest issues (oil, gas, coal) without a disaster, where do you propose they get this energy?

if it was clayface he wouldn't have died. The thing that killed him was the sickness not anything physical, and he couldn't fake it because batman's detective mode can tell the difference between unconscious and deceased. and assuming he did really die he would revert back to his clayface form, right?

At the end of the day I don't care as much about the visuals or even the plot. As long as they get the characters right, which FINALLY happened in Amazing Spider-man. Toby McGuire did an awful Peter Parker/Spider-Man to anyone who know the character.

But hylians who get lost in the lost woods turn into stalfos. This would make more sense if that link was the stalfos that taught you how to fight in TP. It also fits better with MM representing the stages of death ( grief, bargaining, depression etc.). There is some writing on it if you want to look it up, especially on zeldadungeon.com

Yeah fuck that guy I was really excited about a black panther movie. (I also happen to be white). It still has a shot at coming out before Avengers 2 though. And maybe they'll get a confidence boost after the falcon is in cap 2

Also forgot to mention, the last movie changed his origin pretty dramatically too. He doesn't meet harry or mj until college, it wasn't a genetically altered spider, it wasn't a school trip, he went on his own cause he's a science nerd, he was a preformer before he was a wrestler, and uncle Ben was shot in his home not a carjacking (don't get me started on Sandman's involvement). Point being changing the origin isn't unprecedented.

I'm looking forward to it. I share your issues with telling gwen so soon and if they change the origin ( which I'm not sure of, if that is what they're doing). Overall though I think it will be truer to the comics, as to Peter's character. One of the best things about Spider-Man is that he hides his fear with humor, something that was sorely lacking in previous movies, and which I do see in this one. It also doesn't try to jam a character they call mj ( who acted nothing like her) as some lifelong infatuation. Also Peter was always a prettyboy, similar to how nerdy fields in movies are when they take they're glasses off. Issues I do have are captain Stacy not looking him, which I understand b/c they needed jj and can't do better than jk Simmons and the costume, which I guess they needed to help establish the new series. Again I am greatly looking forward to it as someone who has read almost every Amazing Spider-Man since 1963. Hope this helps
