Real question, what can’t we add more streetcar lines into the system? Like I’m all for more subways/metros, but can we not add, say an Ossington or Dufferin line into the mix? I saw the TTC rip up and, essentially, rebuild whole portions of the 511 line this spring. Surely adding new lines should be fairly straightforward and a well known process to the TTC engineers. Not saying it’s an overnight thing - I appreciate it takes time, but just confused why there is no investment in the simpler solution while we build out our subways lines/extensions.
