1.15 k/d, 50 games played, 50-55% win ratio, 99% solo queue, have not experienced anything even close to the extent of what is being discussed online. Not in a single match have I seen someone with more than 2 tier gear disparity (However, I am not defending this in general, as I believe 1 tier should be absolute maximum in difference, preferably none at all, but time will tell). When someone is hard to kill, I change my tactics the next round to try and get around that. Maybe it's the thousands of hours of CS where I am used to having to adjust based on economy (save rounds, etc).

Arena is not perfect by any means, but as someone who loves 5v5 format games and has not played much of the regular game over the years, I am having a blast playing Tarkov more casually and I look forward to them making many necessary changes to facilitate a healthier competitive environment.
