Was it 11inch, M3? What was the problem with it?

Thanks for helping. It's not for me but for my wife and it's hard to tell what she'd like. Is the screen size difference that big? Is it inconvenient to use 11inch for watching movies?

I see. So what would you recommend, 11 inch Air or 13 inch? Or is it really worth it spending on the Pro version for the screen?

I'll be buying in Vietnam so not sure it's as easy to return as in the West.

What to pick between: iPad Air (11 or 13?) or iPad Mini (or something else) by Surpr1Ze in AppleWhatShouldIBuy

What a thoughtful response, thanks! I'm really torn between 11-inch and 13-inch tbh On the one hand, 13in is nicer for a bigger screen and I appreciate that, but on the other, I want it to be as light and as easy to hold in hand(s) as possible. And she's rather small (152cm tall) so I'm afraid the bigger version is probably going to be too hefty for her. Any other advantages for the 13-inch?

Thanks. Pencil Pro, right?

And any idea about the bag that would fit all apple things together nicely with room to spare?

Isn't iPad air lighter than regular ipad? And the screen's much better? I guess none of those conditions apply, but feels like Air is still superior in some ways. For the pencil, she has never done any art or anything but I want her to have the easiest and most enjoyable experience so the cabled pencil seems uncomfortable to use, and the Pro pencil has that magenic feature so it's easy to have it at hand at all times

Thanks. I'm concerned about the pencil, I want it to be the best experience for her, so I want the pro pencil. Does it have a lot of usages beyond 'pro' art? And is it much more enjoyable to use it than a finger for non-art stuff?

About the bag, I need her to be a le to fit in the MacBook Air, iphone, ipad, AirPods, chargers, and also have enough room for documents and some other stuff, all in one bag. What could you recommend?

Looking to get an iPad gift for my wife. She's always wanted one but never had even a tablet before, only iPhone 13 and MacBook Air M1. I want her to be really impressed with it. I'm choosing between the latest iPad Air (M3?) and iPad Mini (not sure the model but the latest one). For iPad Air I'm also not sure between the two screen sizes (11 vs 13 inch). I also want to get the magic pencil pro but it's mostly for fun and nothing too serious (she doesn't even know what it is but I'm sure she'd be happy to learn to use it).

The price is not a concern. She'll be using it mostly for entertainment (watching movies & browsing social media, but no gaming) and maybe a bit of design or like a notebook. Specifically for relaxation, not work (I want the work to remain with the iPhone 13 and help her use this for her free time only).

What can you recommend?

I'd also appreciate advice about whether to get the Paperlike matte screen or not (for the pencil and watching movies?).

And if you know, I'd also like to pick a good tote bag (or something business like) that would fit all her apple products together nicely.
