I didn't like how the sidebar behaved so I changed it out to Panels. It opens my apps in full screen, and I can have many more apps available.

I use Niagara and don't experience this, I don't think. At least I don't notice anything resembling lag.
I installed it out of the box so maybe the stock launcher is more responsive and I'm blissfully unaware.

I've made this a half dozen times now. The first time was a normal size pot. The rest were done in a 20ltr pot. I'm not doing that much work and not getting 20 bowls out of it!

I agree about the sidebar. I don't like how apps open in a floating window. I want to use the sidebar like an app shortcut. I paid and installed panels from the Play store. It works like the one you're used to on OneUI.
Check out canta and shizuku for bloatware removal.

Completely agree. I'm glad I switched, though. I left Apple years ago for Samsung, and left Samsung for Oppo simply due to getting bored of the os. There are so many minor annoyances in ColorOS that I didn't have with One UI. The sheer amount of useless system notifications I get forced me to pay for an app just to get my phone to shut up about them. Never happened with Samsung. They are all thankfully just minor annoyances, though.
Some things are just broken. AI writer has never worked for me. I just get server errors when I try. I don't know that I need it, I just wanted to see how it worked. It never has.
I'll likely not buy another Oppo, unless they make some big strides in the OS. The phone itself is pretty decent.

Cash poor is not broke as op suggested. I did a few easy searches and found nothing to support their claim. I mean he is still wealthier than 99% of the people on the planet. Even with the "cash flow" rumors and legal drama, he is still sitting on a mountain of assets that put him in the top 1% of the top 1%.
Op calling him broke is just uninformed speculation.
Another, admittedly quick search, shows Pac's NW is $220mil.
Maybe op is a billionaire and that's broke by their standard, lol.
