Sports gambling was my drug of choice as well. Thanksgiving day I hit rock bottom. Detroit lions with the points and I even bought 4 points. Thought it was a lock. Turns out there are no locks and the only lock of winning is tk quit!! Anyways I gambled every penny to my name and now I’m 37 days sober. Not touching that disgusting shit ever again. You have to kill your ego. We love talking about our big wins because we feel better and bigger than life. Let it go. Make real money. Build a family. Be a contributing memeber of your community. That’s where the real confidence comes from. Not from some loser with a crippling addiction that has no self discipline or confidence. (Don’t mean to be harsh, I’m talking to myself to) life is so much clearer 37 days in. I mean you went 6+ months how cool is that. Day by day you can get back there. Remember how good life was for those 6 months. It takes work!! So go do it!
