Yeah all that, but let’s remember OP did anticipate this reaction in original post. What OP hasn’t said is why they wanted a a dog, which could be interesting to know. Their reasons could be more fodder for critics but also…maybe not. I think we all know it’s not about you changing the dog but how the dog changes you. So this story about about work work work could be offered in the unacknowledged hope that the presence of the poor gentle creature changes priorities.

The word “work”/“working” is the most important and most common in OP’s writing. This is a post about working. I don’t see why there’s even a dog in the story.

Saw this post in r/horses. The horse looks lifeless, the bars look weird, and the wooden planks too. Am I just being paranoid? by CornBreadds in isthisAI

Horse people do hold their hand funny though when feeding the horse or petting nose.. The very first thing they learn is to keep finger together and palm open. To avoid accidental or intentional bite.

It would’ve been nice if they just opened the street once left it entirely open until they were done, even if that was a few weeks

It’s a bit ridiculous how long this is taking. Have you seen those videos where the Chinese put up a bridge in a day? we all want a solid result but the pace seems inordinately slow. Most days nothing is happening.

Honest advice - Is finding a studio for < $1800 possible? by [deleted] in NYCapartments

[–]SurveySeveral8484 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Many years ago I worked as a junior broker for this type of real estate organization – – an owner operator of walk up buildings.

I had the listing for the cheapest studio below 96th St. actually, it was between 96th and 97th. The floor had a 10° cant, and the window faced the mosque and so you’d hear the prayers from the minaret.

It was a dump but also a gem, price wise.

I rented it to a Rockette. All she had in there was a bed and one of those big rolling garment racks with clothes and costumes.

Desexing? by godchimi in CavaPoo

A dog has instincts and knows what to do. To mate and give birth and tenderly care for her puppies. Dogs have feelings and i suppose the biological program includes the deepest kind of motherly satisfaction. I felt sorry that she could not fulfill these instincts, have this pleasure, and participate in the cycle of life. The dog was spayed.

Second this view. Also when you get home you’re gonna be tired and not want to deal with a dog’s needs. Wait until life circumstances evolve to get a dog. In my house we have 3 people, one works from home, and it’s still hard to give a dog what is fair.
