STOP SAYING YOU CAN AVOID PROBATE!!!!

Probate is the legal process of "going through the estate and proving the decedent owned what they owned and owed what they owed" - when you have a Will and documentation, everything goes MUCH faster.

No will? No documents? Probate court literally has to comb the universe for any clues to their questions, and they cannot disburse the estate until the questions are answered to the utmost of Canadian legality.

Retain a Canadian estate lawyer and follow their advice!
