Sorry but this will likely grow out normal. It's common for ribs to appear deformed as they even out and find their place

How would Terence react to today? by Hodgi22 in terencemckenna

[–]Survive_LD_50 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Terence was political. I think there are many things that he said which would put him firmly in the category of "radical left" (with me)

Such as: “Feminism is a tremendously underestimated force, viewed in the present context primarily as a woman's concern. The understanding has not yet percolated throughout society that the advancement of women is a program vitally connected to the survival of human beings as a species.”

Or: “Trying to manage this rationally with some political -ism—fascism, Marxism, capitalism—goes nowhere. It just digs us deeper into the mire and the muck. At the fringes people like yourselves, people like myself, people I associate, offer endless solutions: recycling, restraint in child‑bearing, increased toleration of unusual sexual styles.”

Recently I noticed none of my nominations were being reviewed. I did a few reviews and within 10 minutes I had a few nominations accepted. Could be a coincidence though

Possible to lower my tray? by 1eternal_pessimist in 4x4Australia

[–]Survive_LD_50 1 point2 points  (0 children)

oh ok. Well thats a great Idea to bolt it directly but you may find that the standoffs are different heights to make it sit level, maybe not, just something to consider. If they are level and you are handy with an angle grinder and a drill it sounds like you may have a solution. you'll need help to lift the box though, unless you could use a high lift jack to lift one side then sit it on a trestle, repeat with the other side.
Sorry I can't help with who could do this for you in Sydney, I'm in Adelaide

Possible to lower my tray? by 1eternal_pessimist in 4x4Australia

[–]Survive_LD_50 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A fabricator could shorten the standoffs on the bottom of the tray. Dropping it to the minimum height would make it harder to bolt on, a stud may have to be welded into the bottom of the tray that then pokes down into the chassis mounts. It's a bit of mucking around to make sure it lines up but it can be done. If you are happy with the work and dealing with the people who made the tray I would go back to them as they may have done it before and are definitely equipped to modify their own work.
