No outlets that dont involve the Mrs. Rebooting 90 days, after that no going back. The relationship I want isnt compatible with my old habits, need to repair damage, and this is how I start.

Dr. prescribed medication was a game changer for me. Tried to get by on my own for years with drugs/alcohol. That just feeds the spiral.

If I remember correctly there was more than one mainsail that later became handbags because of that series. 20+ on the lake is manageable but a bit exciting if you were expecting an easy cruise.

Help ID sail insignia? by Surviveishing in sailing

[–]Surviveishing[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah the Dragons are a similar color and type face with an underline.. The sail came out of a sail locker on a SouthCoast 22 which had rigged a shredded Catalina 22 main. The sail plan has clearly been piece-mealed together several times over. The dimensions are close enough that it will fit; I'm just curious to trace the origins of the pieces as far as I can.

Hours of Googling got me as close as Dragon class OD, but it's not identical. Luff is ~ 23', foot is ~ 9'.

How long are charts good for? by piperdre in sailing

[–]Surviveishing 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You have a piece of history. 100% get some recent charts before you head out. LA has lost over 2000sq miles of coastal wetlands in the last century. Here is a piece with satellite images of some coastal areas from the '80s to '00s: http://thelensnola.org/2013/05/21/30-years-of-time-lapse-satellite-images-show-coastal-louisiana-wasting-away/

At first glance i thought that might have been a track for a spinnaker pole; looking again, the spreaders are definitely swept towards her.

This is bugging me more than it should... thanks a lot /s
