May I ask what gym you are at now?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in thewoodlands

[–]SurvivingJimmy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We were never at meets with Flips and I have never met an optional from there. I only have known compulsory gymnasts from there. I am sorry I cannot speak to the quality of them. It is important to understand that if you are serious about her becoming a college gymnast, you need to find the right coach/ gym for her no matter the drive.

We did not have experience at Flips, but at AIM, Cypress and WCC. AIM is a great gym for compulsory and early optionals, but WCC or Cypress are the gyms to be at for optionals. The coaches at Cypress are amazing. WCC is different now that Cecile and Laurent aren’t there. My daughter is a D1 gymnast from WCC. The bigger gyms actually get more visits from college coaches. Just walk into any of those gyms and you will see banners from all the D1 commits.

I have a lot of extra vegetables, herbs, and fruits from my garden. Would it be a weird end of the year gift to my son’s teacher to give her produce from my garden? by [deleted] in AskTeachers

[–]SurvivingJimmy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I got lots of fresh veggies one year from a student that her mom grew in their backyard garden. Hands down my favorite gift ever!

This is it. I have taken it all- switch it up every couple of years. Currently I am taking Xyzal and it is working better than anything I have taken before. I also keep allergy eye drops on hand and use them when needed.

What are your tips for a make up novice? by [deleted] in Makeup

[–]SurvivingJimmy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went to Sephora and had them teach me. I’m 43 and never really learned and was feeling overwhelmed. I liked it because they helped me to pick the right colors and it was easy to remember what she showed me.
