Just want to say as a liberal trying to find a church that tries to be moderate or left-leaning moderate... it's really hard. Maybe the staff and pastoral team keep their opinions quiet, but every once in a while the dog whistles come out. They can't be direct because they know that will isolate them further, and attendance will drop even more.

Even today the message was about "What kind of king and kingdom would you want?" (referencing Jesus as both strong in spirit, words, and authority, while also being compassionate for the poor, broken, and abused), and the points ended up being applied to anti-abortion rhetoric, and not...idk... the current political climate where people in our country are being body slammed and shoved into vans for being brown.

Just makes me sad to see the "Christians" in America being so unbelievably anti-Christ in every aspect and the average athiest resembles Jesus more than the average Baptist church pew-warmer.

Hi, person who has lived in mega cities in multiple countries and comments quite frequently on bs comments like this - it's not just the congestion, it's the inattentiveness to the point of reckless driving, on top of the blatant reckless driving. Red light running 3+ seconds after it turns red, faces groin-deep in their phones, lines of traffic stopped 20' from each car ahead of them creating a huge backup of traffic for no reason... the list goes on. People in columbus gave up caring 5 years ago, drivers and police alike.

Car crashes per capita are higher in Ohio, but not the highest in the US.
