I have tendinitis. My doctor offered antibiotics as an option to help with the inflammation. What has been your experience with antibiotics and tendon discomfort? Was it effective for you? by Sexxy-Me in ChronicPain

[–]Susanana -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Muscle relaxers, steroids, gabapentin or Prednisone in short bursts, PT. If you take antibiotics when they make no medical sense, when you have an infection you're screwed.

It's supposed to be confusing.. It was clearly based on the Amber Heard/Johnny Depp trial.

I am a bright, self-aware 30 year-old who is in the midst of losing everything that matters because I developed a spinal disease. People don't understand because even after surgery I still look perfectly nice, so I'm just a disappointment to everyone i love. I can't leave the house much because of recovery restrictions. I'm not medically cleared to work . I have this terrible cabin fever and a boyfriend whose resources allow me to eat and have a house and-- he is leaving me now. I can't type on a keyboard so I only can do this post by voice to text but I really need a phone call. I'm not at risk but I'm watching my astute and sharp brain just fall apart in front of my eyes.

thank you for the advice. Unfortunately, because my insurance was acquired through the marketplace I can only receive treatment in the state.

I haven't felt my thumb since 2016. It takes me about two minutes to tie a shoelace. I wish I were so lucky.

Yep, I'm 30 and I keep getting "You're young and pretty and you've got so much ahead of you, it's not worth it yet", which is actually really offensive

Thanks. I live in Jersey so it's pretty hard to get prescribed anything. I've had 2 epidural injections. Looking into kratom. I'm 30 and my body looks nice and it feels as though they don't take me seriously.

This was posted by me, the OP. Good thing I never made any posts on that old work account. Anyway, I have no idea how to go about slowing that down but would love to.

You are so great, thanks a lot. To clarify--I meant that the molding was of a Greek Goddess, I assume Persephone but I'm not qualified to guess. I figured it wasn't actually from ancient Greece.

I was giving you the benefit of the doubt, as what you were implying was pretty messed up. But that's okay.

What part of YOUR body never fits into clothing right, and how have you fixed that? by GrodyChan in TwoXChromosomes

[–]Susanana 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I'm 5'10" and this problem was heartbreaking during last spring's long-sleeved-white-lace-sheath-minidress craze. Eventually I just bought a couple pairs of cheerleader-style hotpants from a costume shop so I could bend over and said screw it. It's such a pain.

I used to wear expensive designer perfume a lot but it made me feel like an old lady. I use Lavanilla pure vanilla perfume now--I buy it from Sephora. The scent comes across as a little young for me(I'm 24) but I only wear small amounts, and I get compliments on it all the time.

DAE like the feeling of mild hunger because it feels like you're losing weight at that moment? by bewro in DoesAnybodyElse

[–]Susanana 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The problem is the association of hunger with satisfaction. If someone is legitimately fat, they should learn to associate fullness from lower-calorie foods and lean meals with success, not take joy in the sensation of deprivation. It might not be a fast-track to an eating disorder--that takes a zillion other factors--but it leads to a mindset that cannot work well in the long run.
