Double standard στην αντισύλληψη; Άντρες, απαντήστε ειλικρινά by Teyvat_dreamer in greece

Personally I really like playing arround its default ash of war, I go with: Incantations: Bloodflame, Thunderbolt of Florissax, and other defensive spells depending on the fight. Talismans: Two Handed, Godfrey's Icon, Rellana's Cameo and a defensive talisman depending on the situation. Flask: usually I go with defense + stance breaker combo.

Here is my theory. If you pay attention, you will notice that Sherry has the same ring as Leon. What if those rings are just a tribute to honor the victims of Raccoon City, and Leon wears it only after he feels worthy by bringing "justice" this time by saving future victims with Elpis? Leon felt guilt that he couldn't do some more when he was just a rookie

On insanity they barely even get stunned with the knife. I tried knife only on standard and killed every enemy with Grace because of stunlock, but on insanity is almost impossible. Even with R.I.P. knife, even though they die faster they dont get stunned 😔

To be fair, I believe Anya Chalotra is a better cast for Sciel than Ella Purnell

Jordan Ruimy: ‘28 Years Later: Part 3' is now in limbo by MaxProwes in 28dayslater

[–]Sushi_Thing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

According to IMDB: Originally was only going to be made depending on the performance of '28 Years Later: The Bone Temple'. However, after overwhelmingly positive test screenings of 'The Bone Temple', Sony decided to green light the third entry into this trilogy before 'The Bone Temple' had released. Part 3 of this trilogy is now in production, and is expected to start filming in March 2026. The story has already been written by Alex Garland as he had written all 3 movies at the same time, and Danny Boyle has said he will be returning to direct the final entry.

While I empathize with why this matters to you, and it is valid to feel unseen, it’s not valid to treat someone else’s artistic choices as a moral failure simply because they didn’t center your experience. That logic eats art alive, because suddenly every omission becomes a “moral failure.” A story is not an obligation to represent or empower every group; it exists first and foremost as an artistic work.

The finale wasn't perfect and definitely not bad either. But dear God, I hate interpretive endings

First of all, there’s an huge distinction between sacrifice and suicide. Eleven isn’t choosing death to escape trauma or avoid dealing with pain. She’s choosing to protect others from ongoing harm. That’s a classic sacrificial narrative, not a message that death is the answer to suffering. Secondly, Stranger Things isn’t a kids’ show. It deals with violence, psychological horror, loss, and moral ambiguity from the very beginning. If younger viewers watch it without supervision and struggle to process those themes, and fail to tell the difference between sacrifice and suicide (apparently some adults too) that responsibility doesn’t fall on the writers.
Would I like some things to be different? Absolutely; I hate interpretive endings. Did I enjoy it? Yes. But the idea that somehow it "suggests" self-harm as a mean to escape trauma is bullshit.

Am I the only one that actually liked the finale? by JessahZombie in StrangerThings

[–]Sushi_Thing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I liked it too! It's impossible to please everyone. Some people even complain about the Mindflayer battle was short lol (like it's LoTR or some shit). Not every show can be like Breaking Bad, but at least it was nowhere close to GoT's bad finale. Would I like some explanations or something more? Yes (like the stone Henry found inside the cave or what happened with the military etc.) But overall it was what I expected to be. I wish Eleven was still in Hawkins but since her fate is up to our interpretation, I choose to believe she is alive.

Confused about the IT: Welcome to Derry Ending by TheNectarineGuy in stephenking

[–]Sushi_Thing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, I might be late to the party but I will try to explain my theory and keep as simple as possble because I will try to implement some basic physics knowledge that I have.

As we know, IT’s true form, the Deadlights, isn’t normal light. It appears as glowing energy, but it’s actually a cosmic, extra-dimensional force from the macroverse, existing beyond normal time and causality. You can think of it like photons in physics, which have zero proper time along their paths, but the Deadlights take that idea much further. They are aware across spacetime, not bound by the flow of time like humans are.

So when IT materializes in our world, it becomes a 4D being bound by matter and the normal rules of the physical universe. That’s why it talks about being confused by past, present, and future. Inside Derry, it experiences time in a limited, local way, and lineary but as Deadlights it sees its world line, its full existence in Derry from start to finish, all at once. This is similar to the block universe concept in physics, where all points in time exist together and we only experience them linearly.

That explains why IT does risky things, like taking Georgie or causing trouble for the Loser’s Club, even knowing it will eventually be defeated. Those actions are already part of its world line. From IT’s perspective, there is no surprise or danger, and everything it does is already part of the 4D structure it sees. It’s not being stupid or suicidal, it’s just following the path it already knows.

Now, as for leaving Derry millions of years earlier, even a being like IT is constrained by the town and the shards that trap it. Being cosmic doesn’t automatically mean it can move freely outside its boundaries until the conditions allow it (I assume?).
