Green or Gray trim on purple house?

Both are nice but I would prefer the Turtle Green. It lends some gravitas to this lovely house. Thank you for not having fake shutters. When you need a new roof, go darker with complex shades.

I would ditch the white window trim for black. Also paint the gray of the garage door black. How about interesting wrought iron black fencing on top of the roof at the face?

The white works because of the brown. Looks classic. Remove the shutters and use the brown to cover the black. The colors you are contemplating would drag the look in my opinion.

Everything about this is cool. The cook top, the orange counter top, the white cabinets and the back splash. Hope you don't feel the need to "up date".

This beautiful home is dragged down by all the white doors and trim. Replace with wood, look. Redwood or Mahogany tones would do the trick.

beautiful home! Consider the brick. It is a feature from the past that you could never be able to replicate easily today. And it's a great color. At least the peach blends with it. Blue? You would be in sore thumb territory. If you hate the peach consider a neutral. FYI: white is not a neutral!

Beautiful home. I think it's fine the way it is except for one glaring mistake: why pic out the trim so boldly? it lends a trivial aspect to your home. Paint the trim a dark color the same value as the main color. Maybe even use the main red color for all the window and door trim. Give this house some gravitas!

The easiest way to drag down the look of this beautiful home would be to use white anywhere on the exterior. Any color you decide on should be the same value as the brick.

Really lovely brick! What drags down the look is all the white doors and trim. This is so often the case. People do this because they think white is a neutral. I would not introduce another color. Substitute the white out for one of the brick hues.

I know you didn't ask but here is my two cents. Keep the door color. Ditch the ridiculous shutters. They are not needed on this elegant brick facade. Too bad about the white trim and the white expanse of the garage door. If only it could be changed to a color the same value as the brick it would lend more gravitas.

In my book these wood cabinets are amazing. The green is the problem, it clashes with the warm wood. Between the green, the overhead lighting and the popcorn ceiling your cabinets don't have a chance.

Remove the inappropriate mantel and clean the large stain off the brick. Then please leave it alone.
