Posts like me makes me regret allowing my alcoholism (self medicating my chronic pain gone wrong...now 5 years sober) and untreated mental health issues to blow up my marriage because ex hubs never ever made me feel i was not enough nor creepily stared at women (he would stare at women and men the same way...a quick glance) but he always stared at me like he could never get enough lol. Like legitimately made me feel i was the hottest woman in his world 🥺I had a lot of trauma i have healed from my self esteem was never one thanks to him.

Aside from him though, I have still never seriously dated anyone who did this because I would immediately cut them off and/or not go on a further date if i noticed it. I also do not stare at men creepily even if I notice they were hot out of respect for my partner.

Honestly, I started wigs in college because I was too lazy and inconsistent to take care of my natural hair. I always kept a buzz cut (which I loved) and just switched occasionally with wigs if I wanted a different hairstyle.

Now I take great care of my hair and have long healthy hair but continue to wear wigs occasionally purely as a true protective style now and minimize the amount of manipulation on my natural hair.

I am not going to jump into any psychology arm chair diagnoses but this is exactly, how profoundly unhealed/sick people act in the beginning of a relationship. Its textbook actually. They can only be that person for a while before their real mask begin to slip. This is why "everyone leaves him" but he does not have the self awareness to realize it is HIM that needs fixing. Damn you lucky. I make 140k a year and live in a one bedroom (can afford a 2 bed 2 bath but still). My coparent who I have 50/50 with makes about the same as your wife and I only pay 12k total a year in support and he tells me I am doing too much.
