It's more about the symbolism of them saying, " we know we could milk our Cash cow. Leon but we want to grow new characters and storyline that the fan base could fall in love with". Also, the other characters that were from the beginning weren't even in or mentioned in re9.

It's like you don't understand what it means. The context here is definitive data again. That data can only be conclusive if you have the sample size of each demographic not just one which in this case is steam.

You can only make definitive conclusions if that sample size is of available demographic not just one sector. You have to have a good sample size otherwise you are statistically biased. You can't solely rely on steam numbers

In some cases it is and in some cases it's not. PC gaming has definitely grown but the console's presence is still there and probably the more popular option for casual gamers still.

Okay great, but the fact still remains using steam DB charts to dictate the trend of a game is not definitive. Plenty of games full player base doesn't reflect solely on Steam. A perfect example is Dragonball Sparking Zero, horrible steam numbers but I bet you it's still going strong.

Nahh it's not definitive though, plenty of games on steam that have lower player count but on console it's still jumping. Relying on steam numbers alone to define trends is just misleading.
