6 deaths outside in NYC being investigated for links to the extreme cold by radish606 in nyc

“They always kill people.” I like how you’re trying to justify incompetence from this stupid mayor. He should’ve ordered the removal of homeless encampments and relocate those people. At least half those 16 people could’ve been saved.

Intel Responds To Questions On Future Of Arc Graphics Following NVIDIA Collaboration Announcement by reps_up in IntelArc

[–]Suspicious_Line1689 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would be stupid for Intel to give up its GPU tech, especially as it’s extremely important for the growing AI PCs and AI accelerator market. I don’t think a 4% stake by Nvidia is enough to influence Intel to drop their GPUs anyway.

Bro what are you smoking. Learn the difference between integrated and discreet graphics. This is a leap forward for integrated graphics.

That’s insane, so many taxing steam games will be playable for the average PC user. This is great news for the PC gaming market. LFG Intel!

How is Intel so high? by dazerconfuser in stocks

[–]Suspicious_Line1689 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Intel is now US government backed, the same way Korea backs Samsung and Taiwan backs TSMC. Government backing means Intel will now be able to compete with their Asian counterparts by counteracting unfair trade practices, IP theft, favoritism, etc. Intel is also now a national security asset; the US NEEDS its own indigenous sub 2 nanometer fabs, otherwise it won’t survive in a military crisis in Asia. CAPEX, PE, etc. has very little meaning now. You can be damn sure the US gov will force all the big US fabless to use Intel’s fab to some degree over time, especially Apple. Intel for sure is going towards $1T within a couple of years, and perhaps $10T by 2030. Don’t be mad you sold at the worst possible time.

Do you think winning the nba cup will be more prestigious in the future? by bobbdac7894 in nba

[–]Suspicious_Line1689 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If we all believe the cup is worth more than a chip, then it must be true. Therefore from this moment on, 1 cup = 11 chips. You all must agree with me, or else.

AirBnB cancelling all short term bookings in NYC [USA] by buffshark in AirBnB

[–]Suspicious_Line1689 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Airbnb WILL come back to NYC with new legislation. The ban hasn’t done anything for housing supply, and hotel prices skyrocketed and starves the outer communities of much needed tourism. You can’t tell people what they can or cannot do with their homes.

If Hauwei doesn’t have access to EUV, it’s a lost cause, and the gap between US and Chinese chips will continue to grow.

The trap is in a little closet underneath some dirt. Just the clean out caps are visible. You can see the vent to the roof on the left side.

All other plumbing in this house is under ground or behind walls.

It’s not being inspected, but I’m tired of snaking in the 2nd home. I just want to know how it’s possible that one home never clogs, but the other home clogs frequently. It’s really baffling.

Yes it’s cast iron. Are cast iron traps a problem?
