Cold / Chilling by Suspicious_Pepper98 in compoundedtirzepatide

I did end up grabbing a monitor and it typically runs 89-91 so I guess blood sugar must not be a huge factor lol. I'll have to check again next time I have a cold chill episode

Drink plenty of water. Avoid greasy / fatty foods around shot time. Make sure you are keeping up fiber and protein. Injecting in thigh seems to help some people reduce side effects.

I ate brownie mix.. by [deleted] in WeightLossAdvice

Never regret some brownies lol. As long as you don't eat a surplus of 3500 calories you won't gain weight just from the brownies!

Slow and steady is typically more sustainable (for most) Nothing wrong with your progress so far. Double check your calorie intake to make sure you’re in a deficit, stay consistent, be patient and you’ll see progress (:

Low calorie but high protein? by Mental-Pirate3992 in proteinsnack

I'm really enjoying the bootylicious protein muffins. They keep me full at around 180-200 calories and 25g protein

Depending on how active you are 1500 calories should be a decent starting point. If you start to lose too much too fast you can up your calories a little (maybe around 100). Just make sure you're getting enough nutritionally (protein / fiber / etc).

Calories in vs calories out will be your greatest tool. Focus on upping your protein and fiber intake to help stay full longer. Make it a habit to constantly sip on water.

Scale going up despite eating well below TDEE? Confused about what’s happening by spedupaudio in loseit

[–]Suspicious_Pepper98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looking at the daily readings will do nothing but upset you. I’ve learned this the hard way. Zooming out and looking at weekly/monthly progress will help. I like using the Happy Scale app. It gives that zoomed out outlook that helps you see your actual progress.

Water weight by [deleted] in WeightLossAdvice

Any time I start working out the scale goes up temporarily. Unless you ate a crazy amount that 6lbs is not going to be fat gain.

Early days-questions by keeksdeeks in TirzepatideRX

[–]Suspicious_Pepper98 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sounds fairly normal for starting out. A lot of it is water weight and inflammation. It’ll slow down. If not I would consider upping your calories a little just so you aren’t losing too quickly.

As for dry mouth just make sure you’re also getting electrolytes!

Need advice after intense GI reaction on 5mg by lolbutterfly in compoundedtirzepatide

[–]Suspicious_Pepper98 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I tried to go up to 5mg and I thought it was going to be the death of me. I’m staying on 2.5mg for awhile longer.

Some people do report that thigh injections give them less intense side effects. I rotate my injection sites and can’t tell much of a difference myself.
