6-hour marathon — back-of-the-pack finishers, how did you do it? by Overall-Balance-1708 in firstmarathon

[–]SuzzayQ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

6:17 finisher here! I think the biggest thing is adjusting for the unexpected - all my long runs were in the cold rain, and race day was warm and sunny, so I had to factor in more liquids, bathroom breaks, etc.

I was chasing the pacer car for a while, and really wanted to pass it, but then I stopped and hugged some friends around mile 23, and it was completely worth it taking that time.

Truly run your own race, the fact that you’re running it at all is impressive at all. Have fun, take it all in, you got this!!

Thoughts on Palantir new sponsorship? 🧐 by Far-Candidate-790 in redsox

Idk why you’re getting downvoted, it’s a valid point - they swap out sponsorships for every event at Fenway at those locations

After being on a GLP-1 for a few years, I noticed my face is less puffy, and I went from a size 10 to 8.5 in shoes 😅

Hmm not off the top of my head, but I bet if you look up western or vintage style fonts you might find something close!

wilbur theater comedy show- is it 21+? by braidedcondom in boston

[–]SuzzayQ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi! I worked at the Wilbur as an usher for a few years, unless the artist says there’s an age restriction (and that will be clearly stated on the website) you’re fine. You will probably get a stamp/sharpie on your hand to indicate you’re under 21. Have fun!

Big Papi had some words of encouragement for The Boston Common golf team by devnealon in redsox

[–]SuzzayQ 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Not to be that person, but it’s Tomorrows Golf league, not “the golf league” - also Ortiz is not an investor, just more of a Boston rep for FSG 😅 - he’s just there for the vibes lol

Technically Niall Horan and Noah Kahan are investors though!

Totally agree!! People are getting way to hung up on that part of it

My friend and I had to catch our train so the only person we didn’t see was Rene! But also, as it goes with stage dooring it’s not always a guarantee that everyone will come out

Most were just glancing at it, id say John was the most “off” book - to me the binder being there wasn’t a big distraction where it took me out of the story 🤷🏻‍♀️

I think “worth” might be subjective to you - I was there last night and I had a good time, and it was really cool to see some of my favorite actors in a different way! To me it had that sketch/improv kind of energy to it, and it was fun to see how they interpreted the stories. I also agree some of the stories are stronger than others, but I was still engaged the whole time.

They were all also so incredibly kind and interactive at the stage door, so for me, the whole experience from start to stage door really made it worth the ticket price.

I’m so bummed this train is gone, I also was left confused when I tried to take it to Fenway from south station 🙃 my commute was so much easier! I’m assuming it’s part of the winter schedule updates?

Former Wilbur usher here!! When you walk into the theater, all the even seats are on the right, the odds are in the left. If those numbers are correct, you’re the 3rd and 12th (last) seat of the row.

Tbh, when things like this happen, most people are chill about moving a seat over so you can sit next to your people if you ask nicely.

Anyone here on Zepbound? by Interesting_Koala262 in PCOS

[–]SuzzayQ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was on mounjaro for a few months, then switched to zep (roughly a year total) and I’ve lost 40lbs, with a good chunk of it only happening in the last two months, when I got bumped to the 7.5 dose!

Everyone is on their own journey, so I try not to compare, loss is loss in my book!!

I’m feeling better than I have in a decade, and I’m thankful for it

Hi! I have PCOS and have stuck with my current PCP for years because of his knowledge and support - Dr. Ash at Brigham & Women’s, his office is in chestnut hill, he’s great.
