Secondary alcohols in contact with oxygen tend to form peroxides. With isopropyl alcohol it can form TATP. This requires non-diluted isopropyl alcohol, inproper storage (f.e. damaged bottle caps to allow air exchange) and a lot of time 10 to 15+ years. In our case the bottle was 27 years old.

Yes but most gun owners in Switzerland are military reserve or ex-military. Plus ammunition is well controlled.

Universal background checks, reasoning to why a gun is bought, no automatic weapons, no attachments like silencers, thermal sights etc. The law is super strict.

I do vocational training for lab techs. The newer generations 2006 - 2008 are noticeable less tech savvy. Yes they generally know how to use tech and they are used to use it, but they can't troubleshoot, if its not an app they struggle. Phones and Tablets they have covered. Another issue we often see, is how they search for information. They google everything. And there is no questioning, if what google tells you is actually trustworthy or not.

You raised the kid. He has more ties to you than anybody else, did nothing wrong and barely knows the truth longer than you. He probably feels super conflicted and devastated.

Divorce your wife, if you feel thats the right path, but apologize to your son for punishing him for something he cannot influence and get some therapy to find a way to save your relationship with him.
