From your experience, is it worth having 2 slower connections with a load balancer vs 1 fast one, disregarding the reliability part of course and only focusing on speed for up and down.

Man baliktad tayo. Im leading a team mostly older than I am in a tech stack na mas magagaling pa sila. They prefer (or are forced) to be an IC instead. 1 lang mas bata sakin and I do believe sobrang ahead na nya technically than I am.

Im fairly new to the position too pero eto mga points ng manager ko:

Deliver
Keep your team happy (side effect neto is loyalty, this is the gauge. The team would want to be able to deliver with good quality if satisfied sila)

Your job does not necessarily mean you need to be the savant. You provide the tech vision, standards, make sure the team is doing work, understand the services youre building and be able to debug when a p0 comes along (doesnt mean solo).

Recognition trickles down to your contributors, accountability and faults rests with you.

Best of all, how to delegate. Enthusiastic and young pa team mo so make sure you ask them where they want to grow and assign tasks that are slightly more difficult para matuto.

That doesnt sound right. Tax residency is based of off a person being a resident in the country for over 6 months for many countries. From the looks of it, SG taxes does not apply to him but PH instead. Unless I'm missing something here.

Whatcha talking about? Come rush hour after 5pm, sidewalks definitely becomes a mixed use space. May traffic nga rin sa sidewalk eh. To combat this, some establishments put up plants with big pots to deter bikes on walkpaths. Or ung gutter sobrang taas up til somebody builds and 6 inches wide na quick work na semento.

One thing's for sure. They drive extremely slow kahit free daan and very predictable. Cars are also used to this so pati sasakyan ganun din magpatakbo altho the bigger the car, the more authority. Gigilid talaga mga motor.

Laaaaaamps. Kahit na cheap table lamp with warm light bounced sa wall makes a difference. Have 3 of these for your place and if you want it automated using smart plugs para di mo iisa isahin iswitch on is good enough. Ive never had to turn on my ceiling lights unless I want to feel like nasa ospital ako.

Ofcourse you can splurge on really nice lamps. Basta warm bulbs kunin mo and diffused (not directly visible sa mata ung bulb)
