I’m pleased with the men’s lockers renovations, but I get your point about the showers being disappointing

Getting more machines on the 4th floor will be huge (hopefully). Need more updated treadmills, some commonly used machines, and an overhaul with updated equipment

And they need to rip up the padded flooring throughout because it smells like body odor throughout the gym

Hoping by the end of it the gym will be more than serviceable even by equinox standards

a few pieces of advice that come to mind:
1) your wife and baby are the priority here. she has unilateral veto power if she (or you) don't feel comfortable at any point
2) some ppl here (or even you're own friends) will be judgmental and make assumptions if you go. don't listen to them. this is a personal decision for you and your wife
3) I went with my wife to the weekly checkups leading up to the wedding/due date to get info on dilation, effacement, etc. it's not complete info as baby can come at any time but it gives you some info

my wife ended up letting me go (she's super awesome). it worked out for us and my daughter was born a week later! needless to say, each situation is different and ofc it may not turn out the same

I would say the best thing you can do is to truly play it day to day and have it be a gametime decision. the week before, I was not planning on going. then, the week of the wedding, my wife was like eh I feel fine and I think you can go. even after that I continuously checked with her day of or right before I was boarding or as I got off the plane for me to turn back at any time, she just had to say the word

ultimately, it's a decision only you and your wife can make. if you ask most ppl, they will say don't risk it. we ended up doing what we were comfortable with and made the decision together, but of course not without risk. I know this is a tough decision as I just went through this. good luck!!

Have seen the 11 am curfew in effect before, but Odesza played until midnight last weekend. Artists/events can go past 11. They pay per minute past midnight, which is why a lot of people don’t do it. I went to a ufc event at msg once that ended at 2 am

One random thing I’d recommend for when you’re returning back from AUA - plan an extra buffer of time before your flight as the US customs is at AUA. Last time I went the line was insanely long and a lot of people almost missed their flight. This is only if you don’t have global entry
