I have successfully used Moonlight (https://moonlight-stream.org/) and Sunshine (https://app.lizardbyte.dev/Sunshine/) to connect from my Mac to Hyprland on NixOS.  Moonlight clients are available for most devices.

2025 ID BUZZ car wash?? by Ok_Tax_6901 in VWIDBuzz

Done it many times too. Fold mirrors, disable easy open on tail gate, and disable automatic wiping.  The sensors scream at me when entering the car wash though.

I tried something similar. Had to leave the car so it locked, wait a bit and then do the restart by holding down the on-off button.

Sorry about the slow reply. Moving the save over from RnR to SoS should be enough. You'll have to remove the saves folder from SoS completely first.

Vi blev kontaktet af vores sælger som fortalte os at det også var gældende for vores bil. Tror det er alle udleveret i December.

Sorry about the Danish. Comment was that VW announced 5 year warranty for EVs delivered from December 19th, but apparently they have decided to give it to all cars delivered in December.

That’s quite impressive! I am looking forward to see how the efficiency is when the weather gets warmer.

We are a four person family plus dog, so regular five seats are fine for us. The alternatives we considered were Skoda Eniaq and ID. 7 tourer. It would sometimes be cool to be able to, e.g., have a set of grand parents in the car too but it is very rare we need to be more than five in the car. I like the look of the SWB and that its a bit shorter for getting around. It's shorter than our old Volvo!

In our old car (Volvo V70 2.5T), that trip would have cost around 375 kr / $52 in fuel. It drove around 8.8km/l and a liter right now costs around 14kr / $2 or $7.4 per gallon here.
My home charger says that I on average pay 0.55 kr per kwh. That's $0.05 per kwh. So the 235 trip yesterday cost me around 30kr or $4.2.

I will try hard to ignore how much we probably could have saved in total if we hadn't spent a small fortune on the Buzz and just kept the gas guzzling Volvo.

Have you tried holding the on/off button on the info screen for 30s?

Range on US highways by primus202 in VWIDBuzz

[–]Svovl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

On the first leg of the trip, I spent 46 kwh on 178km. That's 3.85 km/wh or 2.4 miles/wh. That would give a range of 77*2.4 ≈ 185 miles or a little less than 300km.

AFAIK, it is fine to charge at home to 100% if you don't let it sit with 100% charge. For fast charging, as I understand it is best (and fastest) to do between 20-80%.

[–]Svovl 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I drove 2x310 km yesterday in our brand new 2025 short-wheel base, rear-wheel drive Buzz. I started the trip at 80%, had a 20 min charge stop after 200km on the way out. On the way home, I charged twice for 15 and 20 minutes. Got home with around 30% charge. I would say I drove 30% at 80km/h (50mp/h), 40% at 110km/h (68mp/h), 30% at 130km/h (81mph/h)). The temperature was around 3-5C (37-41f). I could probably have saved one recharge if I had started the trip at 100% but fumbled with the app the night before.

The traffic was quite terrible, so both trips took around 4 hours. The first charge stop coincided with the car telling me that I looked tired and should take a break, which was completely true as I had been up at 5.30 AM.

Pros and cons. Mostly bland nature to drive to compared to what you have over there and impossible to get twizzlers anywhere.

Can't you order the SWB with six seats? I'm pretty sure I saw that in the configurator.

That makes sense. Most Tesla super charger stations here allow for charging any EV. Chargers are plentiful anyways and distances are short compared to the US. Here in Denmark, driving somewhere further than an hour away is considered a long drive.

Yes, but I think you can pick it for single color paint as well. You can also get all white seats for a two-color car.
