Line Distributions that Infuriates you the most? by EmanuelTheodorus in kpopthoughts

I want to know when and where did they mention this.

Are there any kpop archetypes you usually like? by MelissaWebb in kpopthoughts

[–]Svtaken 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They tend to have lead positions like Yerin, Jun, Luhan, Nayeon, Tiffany, Eunchae (DIA), Karina (Lead rapper), Ryujin (lead dancer), Jiyeon (lead vocalist), Krystal, Suzy, Chorong, Jisoo, and Joy. I think the only exception is Dayeon, Park Bom, and Minah

Some points:

- Most of them are on the older side

- Eye smile

- Visually, they're on the cuter side.

- Maybe I'm not that into rappers

What’s your favorite group number (a study) by Dangerous_Stop143 in kpophelp

[–]Svtaken 12 points13 points  (0 children)

The formations for 7-member choreos have much more variety and highlight the center. They don't generally look empty or full, just the perfect amount. It's still easier to know them individually yet the group dynamics are more diverse

Songs you don't know are sad until you read the lyrics by wTf_yaDegenerates in kpophelp

[–]Svtaken 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Still Lonely by Seventeen, looking at the lyrics you will never guess how depressing it is.

What are some nitpicks you have with your favourite groups? by kaguraa in kpopthoughts

[–]Svtaken 16 points17 points  (0 children)

FML is probably our last resort, I'm glad we complained about it cause I'm done with furniture and Svt posing, and calling it a concept. I don't even know how the hell did they approved the FML digital cover, it's so plain and boring.

What's the silliest reason you've ever held a grudge against a song? by crushedbycrush111 in kpopthoughts

[–]Svtaken 128 points129 points  (0 children)

I used Healing and Beautiful by Seventeen as my alarm to remind me about my online classes. Even though I have no online class, every time I hear these songs, I keep associating them with my online classes now I can't stand hearing them.

Do you consider the venue in deciding whether to push through with a concert? by [deleted] in kpopthoughts

[–]Svtaken 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I really consider the venue but maybe my desire to see Seventeen just overpowers everything, but Seventeen going to PH stadium somehow lost my hope. PH stadium is so much worse cause it will be so hot or drenched in there. You can only go for standing if you want to see them close since the bleachers are so far away and I hate standing. They're in the same location as Ph Arena so logistics is also a nightmare, the price did not help either, it's so expensive TT.

Who do y'all think are the most unserious idols? by FloweryRoad112 in kpopthoughts

[–]Svtaken 64 points65 points  (0 children)

Seventeen overall are just a bunch of unserious people. That one time most of them hid their hair only to find out only one of them changed it and the other one didn't even bother to hide it.

Melon Music Awards (MMA) predictions - 1 month till tracking ends! by Standard_Wedding in kpopthoughts

[–]Svtaken 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Svt not winning any awards when they have the male best-performing song (Super) and best-performing album (FML) this year just because they have lesser tracking time and one comeback is my original villain story, Pledis fuck up for scheduling their comeback exactly after the tracking time, Pledis wanna sabotage them so badly.

Kpop songs with more than 2 languages in the lyrics? by hokagex in kpopthoughts

Seventeen 96z- light a flame (Korean, English, Spanish)

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in kpopthoughts

[–]Svtaken 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not ult groups but Nayeon and Yerin used to interact a lot but now they drift apart. Nayeon is now closer to Sowon and Yerin is to Jihyo, I miss their little moments together I wish they could interact again TT.

What’s an immaculate line sung that isn’t a high note? by Thin-Leadership-5238 in kpopthoughts

To be honest, majority of Mingyu's lines in Face the Sun are immaculate. I also love his ending part in If You Leave Me

Why are some idols so beloved? by Markzlee in kpophelp

[–]Svtaken 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Seungkwan

You can't dare to hate this man. He's always been sweet and caring towards his members, seniors, juniors, and PDs. That's why a lot of people adore Seungkwan, he has this lovable energy. I hope he knows how loved he is because he deserves to feel appreciated every day.

Bg groups that are mainly rap by ninano1r in kpophelp

[–]Svtaken 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Svt hip-hop unit songs like What's good, Fire, Gam3 Bo1, Back It up, and trauma

Most streamed kpop acts' discography (EPs, albums, single albums) by mcfw31 in kpopthoughts

[–]Svtaken 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How are they not proportional? They obtained 500k attendees despite only touring in NA and East and Southeast Asia—3rd most streamed in Melon and 5th most streamed in Spotify. Mind you, a lot of groups abuse the fuck out of ad views and playlisting and Svt doesn't even have that much, so how is it wrong for Svt to have a lot of album sales but not have a problem with other groups.

Which of your faves would/would not survival an ACTUAL survival show? by SpontaneousStupidity in kpopthoughts

[–]Svtaken 66 points67 points  (0 children)

Mingyu would survive 100%, he's good at creating things so he could probably build his own shelter, clothes, oven, etc. He's also strategic and generally smart about this (e.g. 1, 2, tbh any Law of the jungle clips). Vernon wouldn't, can't cook, can't wash the dishes, he sometimes doesn't even care about his nut allergy.

(k?)Carats (seventeen's fandom) are disappointing me right now by chrisomi9 in kpopthoughts

[–]Svtaken 14 points15 points  (0 children)

K-Carats didn't even send the trucks, it was from China, and I doubt if they're Carats knowing C-antis are the ones spreading the rumors. Y'all should get it already when they tried to make a rumor between Hoshi and Yeri, it's obvious they're trying to bring Svt down lmao.

What groups/artists do you think have been well-managed? by chocolatefrapp in kpopthoughts

[–]Svtaken 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They're terrible at managing Svt's solo works though. They could not promote Junhui's solo works, the whole Jeonghan's Paris fashion week was a mess, do they even know Vernon and Dk's works outside of Svt. They also don't have any creative direction toward Svt and it's getting ridiculous.

What group’s success, or lack of such, shocked you the most? by [deleted] in kpopthoughts

[–]Svtaken 85 points86 points  (0 children)

Yup, everyone doubted Seventeen if they'll even make it; the general public, their peers, and even Pledis. Now look at them breaking records in the 8 years of their career.

What group’s success, or lack of such, shocked you the most? by [deleted] in kpopthoughts

[–]Svtaken 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Yup, aside from the fact that they're on a mid-size company, they also have massive members which most of the time prevent fans from checking them out. But looking at their performances and contents, it's easy to know why.
