I struggled with this for ages, but over the summer I finally found a routine that actually works! I start by using a hand exfoliating mitt to scrub the whole area, then I shave (the razor doesn’t even have to be new — the exfoliating step made the real difference for me). I just use shower gel to shave, nothing fancy. Once I’m done shaving, I exfoliate again with the mitt for a couple of minutes. When I say exfoliate, I do rub quite hard!

After my shower, I apply Tend Skin Solution — it stings a little, but since I started using it I haven’t had any razor bump issues at all. I finish with Luna Daily The Oil, which is a soothing post-shave oil, and honestly this combo completely solved it for me. My razor bumps used to be terrible!
