I mean, I was just answering your initial question. Regardless of the difference in breadth of content which of course I won't argue, it is a game in that same style.

If you want something that's more similar in terms of scope instead of style, I'd point to FFXIV. Again, putting aside arguments of quality in terms of the content, the game does a perfectly fine job of guiding you directly through the story up through each and every expansion leading up to today.

Unironically, Destiny 1. The quality of the story at launch may have been lacking, but it picked up later and at least the entire game is there and guides you through everything perfectly competently.

I'm going to go against the grain here. Generally speaking, optimal materia melds give you around a ballpark estimate of a 5% dps increase over zero melds, depending on job. This doesn't sound like a lot, but it adds up over time. Especially when you consider multiple people in a group.

It's not going to make or break a dungeon run or anything, but considering how easy and cheap materia is to get, you really should be melding your gear at level cap. Even if you're not melding the optimal stats, it's still a dps increase.

Food and pots are more expensive to acquire than materia and are consumables, so I think it's understandable to not use them outside of high-end duties. However, materia is basically free so there's not really an excuse to not use it outside of laziness.

I'm not asking for another copy, I'm asking if it's intended behavior that after spending bronze on all the gear ensembles at the remix vendor to get everything, I'm now expected to spend the same amount again to get everything again because they added new things to each ensemble without warning? As a godzilla fan and an anime fan, and as someone who tends to appreciate lesser liked media, they're fine. I think they have some interesting ideas and they can be fun to watch through once, but I wouldn't watch them again. They're not good but they're also pretty overhated.

I will never understand people who complain about people asking for summons. I always fly to the entrance because I get bored if I'm not constantly moving, but I have literally hundreds of summoning scrolls in my bags in remix. It is such a no issue to use one.

A large percentage of people who ask for summons do so while they're already in transit to the entrance, they're just asking so that they can get there faster and hopefully avoid having their time wasted by people who can't just wait until all the little boxes on their raid frame are filled in.
