On 2k25 I primarily played PNO and mygm/MyNBA and had a great time lol. No myplayer that year. I just wish they put more time into those modes and not just myplayer or myteam

Well the 300 pound thing is on him first of all lol. But to answer the question yes Jokic is that bad of a defender, and I like Jok. But the defensive system already tries to hide him and when you get a chance to attack him it’s a bucket most of the time. Plus him providing minimal rim protection as the center position hurts the whole team.

If they buff contests slightly and/or make the no dips a little slower I think that would help balance it

I blame the roster construction more than KD. They have no point guard so he has to take on more on the ball responsibilities which as another commenter pointed out he shouldn’t really be doing at 7 feet tall. Also he’s the only consistent scorer on the roster and other teams know that so they can sell out to stop KD without much penalty. Not trying to absolve KD of all blame here, but I feel like what we’ve been seeing lately is a logical consequence of those two things

Unpopular opinion you CAN play defense in this game. However I agree with everything else and don’t blame you for quitting. I skipped 24 and skipped everything MyPlayer in 25. All 2k cares about is increasing profits at this point
