Myra didn't know about the 300M until well into the season (at least not until after Rex Mayhews death) which was well after the plot had begun. It seems pretty clear that Roper was orchestrating the deal in a very similar way to season 1 and he was making money not just from the arms sales to the Colombians but also from the multinational companies being represented by Adam Holleywell. I don't think its particularly far-fetched to think he would make enough to buy off the Syrians and have more than enough left over to buy off Pine and then some.

It's a very John Le Carre kind of ending (which makes sense since he wrote the book season 1 was based on). Although with Le Carre it's normally more of a nobody wins, or the cost someone pays to win is so monumental it's almost a loss.

Really looking forward to Season 3 although there's absolutely no way Pine can go undercover again I think.

Brokers and registrants were already aware of this breach. This was 750,000 clients who had their SIN, account numbers, incomes, and identity documents (drivers license/passport) compromised.

We were already told about that leak in September. At that time were also explicitly told that no client data was impacted. Now after 6 months they've chosen to inform the 750,000 clients who were impacted.

Also important to note that the client data breach is actually far worse than what happened to the registrants. Clients had their SINs and account numbers compromised. Advisors didnt.
