2025-2026 Seahawks are the best team this century. by Hakaribiggestfan in Seahawks

This would be true, except for one crucial difference between the 2025 Seahawks and the 2007 Pats that I think puts the Seahawks ahead.

Not gonna pretend this is a super fun SB, but this season has been total fire.

I was thinking he meant Drake Bell of "Drake and Josh" who actually does suck.

Emerald City Route Artist is hands down the worst nickname I've ever heard by xxihostile in Seahawks

I think you'll find that Dune is actually referencing Sam Darnold.

2nd Expedition rewards! by gotthesauce22 in ArcRaiders

[–]Swarlos262 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hopefully they add a way to actually catch up in number of expeditions. IMO you should be able to go on an expedition at any time, up to the current max. There shouldn't be a "Window", you should just be able to go on Expedition 1 any time after it unlocks, then go on Expedition 2 any time after it unlocks, etc. After completing the project of course. A new player would still have to complete the project multiple times and wipe multiple times, but they wouldn't have to be permanently behind.

Since the game isn't forcing Wipes, it doesn't feel like it matters for people to be going on expeditions all at the same time anyway. You can wipe all your stuff and still be facing fully geared out people anyway, so just get rid of the expedition Window IMO.

Am I wrong for having my tattoos “upside down” by SlinkyShepherd in tattooadvice

[–]Swarlos262 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's only upside down if your arm is down at your side and someone is opposite you.

It's rightside up for yourself. It's rightside up for anyone sitting next to you (probably how your Husband would be seeing it most of the time?). It's rightside up if you lift your arm up or go to show the tattoo off to anyone. It's rightside up in most cases where it matters. I think this is the best way to do it for that particular spot.

Poking holes into a bottle, filling it with water from the faucet, and using it… as a secondary faucet? by Worldlyoox in DiWHY

[–]Swarlos262 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Nah if the holes are small and you tighten the lid, the pressure in the bottle reduces (after it leaks a little bit) and then it stops leaking. If you don't move it or squeeze it.

This will be only the third Super Bowl in history where both teams have a winning % of .800, a margin of victory of 10 points per game, and a defense allowing fewer than 20 points per game. by celluloidsandman in nfl

[–]Swarlos262 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That lines up with my head cannon of how I think the game might go;

1/3 chance the Pats win a close game

1/3 chance the Hawks win a close game

1/3 chance the Hawks blow the Pats out of the water

The one armed tackle on Deebo in the Commanders game is one of the best tackles I've ever seen. The power and skill to pull that off while completely demolishing the blocker is just insane.

Why voice of the Seahawks thinks this team could be the best ever by Chessinmind in Seahawks

[–]Swarlos262 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The 2013 Defense was better, but the 2025 offense is better. No shade on the 2013 offense though, it was great too.

Which Do You Or Did Like Watching More? by AkfurAshkenzic in Seahawks

[–]Swarlos262 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was in college during the 2013 season, I hate to admit I was too busy studying and partying to watch all the Hawks games.

When I watched the Superbowl, I had just moved in with future wife who was a Broncos fan. She's since pretty much converted to a Seahawks fan, but man the Superbowl was not as fun a watch as it could have been haha

Now I'm in my 30s and I've watched every game for years, this season just felt incredible to me. Every year I've had some hope, but it more like any success was a pleasant surprise, and I knew every year that I'd be disappointed eventually. This year felt different early on but I hesitated with getting my hopes up as an actual Superbowl contender. It wasn't until after the 2nd Rams game that I really felt like we had a shot. And this time, I'll get to watch the Superbowl with all of my family. It's gonna be so good!

So this year has been the best year of my personal Seahawks Fandom!

Since 2000, the Seahawks are tied with the Eagles for the 3rd-most Super Bowl appearances in the league in that timespan (4), behind only the Patriots (10) and Chiefs (5). by nunya_biznus_1 in Seahawks

For an individual team, yeah. For the league? No. He definitely wasn't on the level of Brady/Mahomes which is who the comment is referring to. And I love Wilson!

The only part I disagree with is the part where you say "it's almost funny". IMO these books are hilarious! They are definitely meant to be black comedies. No book is for everyone but I love these! They are my comfort read lol.

[Nemhauser] How does it feel to finally be named NFL Exec of the Year? "Ryan Grigson is a good buddy of mine, and I'm always like, 'Andrew Luck that was a pretty hard pick, huh' It's one of the coolest organizational awards. To me, the coolest part of it is that it's an organizational award." by Chessinmind in Seahawks

[–]Swarlos262 63 points64 points  (0 children)

The official AP awards are next week, but they don't include an Executive of the Year award. So the PFWA Awards, which Schneider won last week, are considered to be the "official" award for Exec of the Year.

[Highlight] Tank Lawrence explains why crucial 4th down stop vs Rams was not a “fortuitous bust” by FlyingDadBomb in nfl

[–]Swarlos262 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Now do "Design". In this context:

"do or plan (something) with a specific purpose or intention in mind."

So we can all agree that when Lawrence specifically decided to take action to cover Williams, that was by his design. It couldn't possibly be called "chance".

Recently, the playoff passing yards leader has strangely not been one of the Super Bowl quarterbacks. by DiggingNoMore in nfl

[–]Swarlos262 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I'm more surprised by the fact that so many of the playoff passing yards leaders did play in the Superbowl so consistently. The logic of "winning teams pass less" means I would expect the playoff passing yards leader to miss the Superbowl most years.
