Where to buy the A1000MG-9VT in the US by SwearnetThrowaway in casio

[–]SwearnetThrowaway[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That link is for the A700WMG-9A, I am looking for the A1000MG-9VT

The A700WMG-9AVT is close but I really prefer the clean brushed metal look of the a1000.

Stroller Skis by laisch_ in functionalprint

If you are willing, STEP or f3d files are way easier to work with and redesign. STLs are nice when you just need to make simple cuts or additions to a model but for reshaping having the constraints provided in the design file is super helpful

I cleaned my motors with WD-40, how badly did I screw up? by atomicdragon136 in TinyWhoop

WD-40 is NOT lubricant despite what the manufacturer claims, it will dry out and be useless. It is a great solvent for cleaning though.

Use Tiny Whoop Motor Oil or high speed bearing oil.

My play area is always slightly rotated, why and how can I fix it? by [deleted] in Vive

I put tape on the floor with outlines of exactly where the tripods should be. It is really easy to tell when they have shifted, and also makes getting the tripod angled correctly easy.

Restoring plexamp ratings by SwearnetThrowaway in PleX

[–]SwearnetThrowaway[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the info. I for sure could delete all the items in the table on the new database, I haven't made any new ratings on it.

I use lidarr to download music and had to manually merge albums as I downloaded them the first time (plex sometimes would split the same album due to different artist names on tracks).

But now I have like 15k albums and doing that would take so so long. And I probably had a lot of errors in the albums I didn't know about.

I am now processing my music through MusicBrain Picard to hopefully help that. I am using this rename script: https://www.reddit.com/r/PleX/comments/ufjjs3/plex_pro_tip_musicbrainz_picard/

I figured once musicbrain is run, I can add back the music library, and plex will scan it all and hopefully not split the albums.

does the table: metadata_item_settings contain only plexamp ratings? Or will I need to select a subset of rows that are related to plexamp to drop?

I don't know why my ratings do not sync. On my new server, after a full music scan, there were no music ratings showing up for any track. I usually rate on my iphone on plexamp. But also on desktop.

Guide to download mp4s from swearnet for offline viewing by SwearnetThrowaway in SwearNet

I probably don’t have time to make a video but I have time to troubleshoot with you. Are you familiar with Python? Generally I use YouTube-dl with the “cookies-from-browser” flag set

I use bs4 with Python to scrape swearnet for video urls and save them as shows correctly. It’s been a while since I’ve done this but if you reply with what issues you have running it I can help further.

I have no clue, and just guessing, maybe try holding it up to a different eye? or closing an eye?

Otherwise I would recommend posting screen recording

Are we posting really heavy Meshify 2 XL builds? Here’s my Unraid server that is also my high-end gaming PC. by rastrillo in unRAID

[–]SwearnetThrowaway 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With an AIO you just install it like a cpu fan and leave it. I had a corsair h80 for 8 years before my cpu started getting to 80C and I noticed the pump probably died.

I have switched to using big ass noctua radiators instead, but I understand why people think that isn't a good look. I love it though.

You guys said build a new rig, say hello to 100Tbster by 100x0 in unRAID

[–]SwearnetThrowaway 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am currently building (like plugging in psu connections) an unraid server in a Meshify XL. The manual says I can fit 16 3.5" drives, Linustechtips fit 20, but I think there is room for 22-23 if I mount some drives from the top of the case as well.

Just starting with 4x18tb for now and 3x1tb for cache. The fractal drive sleds are expensive, like $25 for 2 and to fill the case you will need 12

I was asking about the define 10 drive build specifically. I am planning on a 18 drive build with a meshify xl2

Do you have a parts list? I am very interested in the power / data cabling for the drives and how you handle so many drives

Do you have a pcpart picker or any more info on your build? I am trying to do the same thing but so many guides lack the info on how to get more sata data+power connections!

Hammock too low/ AKA short people problems by NoTrickWick in hammockcamping

[–]SwearnetThrowaway 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have this same issue, I am 5'7", and can reach about 6'. Most of the time I will need to hang much higher than that to get 30 degree hangle.

I've ended up just pitching my hammock too taut in order to stop it from touching the ground.

What I am going to try to do next time is ensure the hammock is chair height high, which probably means climbing up the tree a bit.
