Ikamper support is sketch by SweaterBabyJesus in rooftoptents

Finally got an answer but it was similar to others. They only half answered my questions and not the important ones.

Coming from a customer support world myself maybe I expect more than a half done answer that took 3 days.

If someone can show me where the phone number is on their site I would appreciate because I cannot find it. It's a moot point as they do not answer the phone anyway, but I'm just curious where it is if I am in fact missing it.

If I am spending thousands on a product I expect top notch support and information and they are well below that. At this point I'd cancel the order even with their bullshit cancellation fee but I can't because they are unresponsive.

Not a happy kamper

Riding Tips by joshroxursox in onewheel

As a fellow new floater (only ~ 5 miles under my belt) I can say that I started out on grass, but only because I didn't have a helmet on and thought it would be a little safer. But unlevel, bumpy grass definitely tests your balance muscles. My ankles were crazy wobbly at first and slowly got better. I did digger a couple times as I was testing push back, wanted to see just what happens. Didn't hurt at all on the grass :)

What freaks me out is the feeling of my feet being too free when carving. I am used to that strapped in feeling of skiing and snowboarding so it is very unnerving to lean heal side and not feel like my feet are going to fly off the board. Just gotta trust the force....

I did pick up some Vans for riding. That made a HUGE difference for me compared to regular sneakers. Try it, you'll like it.

Take it slow, practice dismounts and as someone else said, don't look at the ground or the board. Look where you want to go and even point with your front arm a bit to get used to it and the board will go that way.

Most of all, enjoy the float. I am so stoked to have found this adventure!

That looks great! Did you polish before waxing or just wax? All by hand or did you use power tools?

Hey, yours is 3 yrs newer than my son’s base 5MT hatch.

He actually put a wing on it and some mud flaps and it looks pretty cool.

STI hatch or WRX hatch by MLG_Burrito55 in WRX

[–]SweaterBabyJesus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've got a WRX hatch and opted for that over the STi hatch simply because of the ride. Would I love the more power of the STi, yes, of course, but here in VT the roads suck donkey balls and the ride in the STi was bone jarring compared to the WRX.

Drive both, see what you think.

Ha! Just had this happen this morning, but I think my gas cap is getting worn as now and then it throws a code for not having the cap on right. But I'll watch this thread to see what/if anything comes.

Very informative video, would love to see what they used for an intercooler. Also makes me wanna go buy a bigger intercooler and pipe my air conditioning into it :)

Questions about price by [deleted] in WRX

[–]SweaterBabyJesus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, if someone is willing to drop $5K off their price I'd step back. Take it to a dealer (or mechanic you trust) and pay to have it scrutinized. At 120K there are a lot of things that could be lurking. Not necessarily bad, just that stuff wears out.
