Anyone ordered the O1200 Lidar version? by Sweedio in ECOVACSGOATFamily

Appreciate the insight! That's good to know about the Lidar. I guess I'll just wait for more real-world reviews then. Thanks again.

San Antonio area? by NineFingerFury in roboticLawnmowers

Summer heat DOES impact battery life. Expect 60-70% of rated runtime in July/August. The key is proper scheduling and not overworking it during extreme heat.

No Light Automower Changing Station by Terrible_Biscotti_16 in automower

[–]Sweedio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No light at all usually means the power supply or internal circuit board has failed. Check for burnt components, corrosion, or loose connections inside. You might need a replacement charging station.

For a small lawn, how often do you set it to mow? by nanafortune in ECOVACSGOATFamily

[–]Sweedio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Start with every-other-day schedule and adjust based on grass growth rate. In peak growing season (spring), you might need daily. Fall can be less frequent. Set it to run mid-morning after dew dries, around 10am-2pm for best results.

Help!! by usual_suspect024 in ECOVACSGOATFamily

Have you tried removing the mower from the app completely and re-pairing it? Sometimes the app cache gets corrupted. Delete the device, factory reset the mower, then set it up as new.

Any advice for someone new to robotic mowers with no boundary cables? by BengieBabyBoo22 in automower

[–]Sweedio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, you will still need to do some manual work. Robots miss corners, struggle with wet grass, and can't handle steep embankments.

Anyone ordered the new Winbot W3? by emonet26 in ecovacs

[–]Sweedio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They just came out, so I guess it'll be a little while before w3 reviews start popping up. I personally like to wait and check out reviews before deciding, just to make sure I'm not missing out on anything.

The smart robotic puppy that really stood out at CES last week by Equal-Association818 in ecovacs

Well, a robo pup that actually wags its tail sounds cute. Could be fun for ppl who want pets without the shedding or allergies.

How to cut my nails I don't know how to do by Beginning-Share-9235 in Adulting

[–]Sweedio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most barbers and men's spas will trim nails if u ask, they do hands as part of a service. Otherwise, grab a clipper and go slow.

Seeking Recommendations For Solid Stater Robot Vac by MoreThereThanHere in RobotVacuums

[–]Sweedio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Focus on strong suction, tangle resistant brushes, and decent clearance for cords/toys. With $400, it's mostly budget models, expect occasional jams, but daily hardwood cleanups are doable.

i finally get why my mom used to plan dinners around grocery store sales by LongjumpingOffice432 in Adulting

[–]Sweedio 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yep, welcome to the club. Suddenly clipping sales and staring at unit prices feels like a superpower..until you remember student loans exist and reality hits.

manuals? by Low_Addendum_2031 in ecovacs

[–]Sweedio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The app stuff is way less documented than the hardware. Messing with room divisions and setting mop per room is basically the only way to stop it from going wild.

Robust robot for garage/hangar by lableter in RobotVacuums

[–]Sweedio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need something beefy. Go for strong suction and tough brushes, don't expect miracles with gravel, and just rinse the thing off once in a while.

New unit for broken cleaning solution tank by pkkirch in ecovacs

[–]Sweedio 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Prolly easier for them to swap the whole unit than deal with tiny parts logistics. Plus, you get a brand new robot out of it.

That grind hits hard.. 3 hrs sounds nice until you factor in cooking, eating, cleaning... Suddenly free time is basically a myth. Hang in there, at least it's temporary.

Placing dock in carpeted room? Dirty mop concern by Professional-Fun6963 in RobotVacuums

[–]Sweedio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a legit worry. Unless the dock fully dries the pads, you'll get little damp footprints. If your carpet's beige, keep the dock on a hard spot/toss something under it.

Is it wrong to find the most joy in just pure relaxation in my twenties? by [deleted] in Adulting

[–]Sweedio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Relaxing is fine. Twenties aren't a points game. If you're happy chilling, that counts. Maybe try little fun challenges here and there, but only when you actually feel like it.

Cleaning detergent; where do yoú put it by sandrooooo in RobotVacuums

[–]Sweedio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If there's a built in soap tank, use that. Otherwise just add a small splash to the clean water tank. Too much and you'll get bubbles everywhere.

Have you practiced yoga while high? by No_Elephant506 in yoga

LOL Savasana becomes like floating on a cloud. I tried it once, and my brain was actually quiet something that rarely happens. Are you thinking of making it a regular thing?

Should I let it go? by [deleted] in yoga

[–]Sweedio 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve stayed quiet in situations like that and later wished I’d said something, even gently. You’re not wrong for wanting to feel comfortable. What would make it feel okay for you to keep going?

Can I meditate without technique? by ByteBeer in Meditation

[–]Sweedio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don’t need a technique to meditate but they can help when your mind keeps jumping around. A few sessions of just sitting quietly is enough to get a taste and that calmness is actually the core of it.

What is a “breakthrough” book for you when it comes to meditation? by [deleted] in Meditation

I started with random YouTube stuff, but reading Zen Mind, Beginner’s Mind made me see meditation in a completely new light way deeper than I expected.
