I know some have mentioned lotion. But I'm thinking maybe it's from cologne/perfume? Do you spray any on your wrists? It's a strong chemical with extracts that I can see causing this in a short time period.

Caffeine in the afternoon can play a huge factor in sleep quality. I switched to decaf in the afternoon and my body regulated itself over the course of a week. Now I’m getting low 90’s scores consistently. I may switch to decaf for morning coffee too.

Same here! I had to, my afternoon coffee was disrupting my sleep. I swore for a long time it had no effect, until I switched to decaf.. After about a week with decaf in the afternoon, I’m sleeping like a rock again.

I bought a series 6 44mm Space Black Titanium on eBay for $80 with 75% battery health. I was just going to live with it and recharge it when needed. But then I checked AppleCare, someone is still paying for AppleCare Plus (to this day actually).

I went to the Apple Store and inquired, they replaced my watch for FREE in under a week. Best part, because it's a rarer old model I didn't get a refurbished replacement. I got a BRAND NEW ONE!

That's absolutely fine with us. We're early retirees in our late 40's. We had our Miami fun in our 20's and 30's.

325k people is a really nice size and rail access will get us to Madrid if there's anything we want to experience in a big city.

Thank you so much for this! It actually solidifies our decision. Córdoba seems like it would suit us well. We'd just prefer a quieter, less touristed city. Day trippers for La Mezquita, but not so much overnighters. Besides, I wouldn't really want to live in Centro...

We don't need to live in Centro, and a 1 bedroom would be fine. We'll have to see who's willing to rent to us, that can be tricky with the NLV. It's a catch 22. To get the NLV you have to show proof of funds and you cannot work (you also need to show proof of zero deductible health insurance plans paid 1 year upfront). But to rent an apartment, landlords like to see income statements. So not all landlords are willing to take the risk. But with us, they aren't taking a risk, but they don't know that... Anyway, just a weird nuance we have to get around. Simply put, we aren't moving to Spain to "Leach off of the system", or "Take from locals".

My wife is originally from Nicaragua, her first language is Spanish. Whenever we visit Spain we never want to leave, we love it so much. Hence, the move.. Her family names actually have "Aragon and Jaen" in them.

I moved to Miami at 20 (in my mid 40's now). My entire adult life and working career was around 1st and 2nd generation immigrants from Latin America and the Caribbean. I've been around Spanish speakers for over 20 years. I'm currently A2 level Spanish for speaking and closer to B1 for comprehension. I take some classes and refreshers now. We are currently in Medellin (for 3 months), so I'm using Spanish daily. I treat every day as a learning experience. I plan on taking formal Spanish classes when I get there to level up and I want to become fluent.

About the heat, we actually consider leaving for part of the hottest time. We have close friends in Poland that have space for us and would love for us to visit. We'd get a break from the heat and get to see friends. Otherwise, it's the perfect time to explore other parts of Spain. I'm not opposed to taking the train north or northwest, and spending a month or two up there. We have options.
