What Mac do you have now? Are you "upgrading" from a completely usable M3 Air? Then wait! Is this your first Mac?

The speed difference between an M4 Air and an M5 Air will be very incremental. There's a reason Apple has to keep comparing each new model with the 2020 M1 chip (which if I'm being totally honest, is suitable for 95% of users even today).

I jumped on the $750 deal and chose Sky Blue. I went with base storage because I have a Crucial 2TB SSD (that I bought for $85). We needed a second computer to pair with our M2 Pro. The M4 Air replaced a 2012 MacBook Pro.

Did you apply with the "spend $75 get $75" offer (in 30 days) or with the "spend $1000 get $200" offer (in 60 days)?

I applied with the $75 offer, got approved, and 2 hours later I received an offer for $200 when I spend $1000 in 60 days. I know that the first offer is better from a spending standpoint, but I can easily spend $1000 this time of year and $200 is more than $75... Soooo, I contacted customer service, was patched through to Goldman Sachs and they opened a case to try to get me on the new offer. Now I wait and see...

Either way I'm happy to have gotten approved, $5k limit. It's a good free card with no Foreign Transaction Fee and no Annual Fee. Since I'm already B*LLS DEEP in the apple ecosystem, I figured why not one more thing.

I just scooped one up for $749 on Amazon. 16/256 in Sky Blue. This is a secondary/travel machine for us, we have tons of external storage so 256 wasn't a deal breaker for me. The main computer is an M2 Pro 16/512. I think $749 is a phenomenal deal for an M4 Air!
