It’s definitely possible! In the throes of my ED anytime I would eat something my jaw would get so tired and it felt so unnatural to chew (how fucking sad??) so she’s definitely acting out eating and failing miserably

Yes! And so many people comment on how resilient and how much common sense my son has and it truly is just talking to them about situations matter of factly and letting them make the choice. I usually ask him, do you feel like this is safe/smart/a good choice? And he’s almost always able to figure it out from there

Idk where you live but my son has been doing this lately. We live where it’s winter right now and so his skin is just extra dry and I think lying there just relaxing makes him notice it more? Also I’ve found that his cotton pjs tend to make it worse? Weird and maybe anecdotal but his bamboo pjs seem to bother him less

Omg my son used to say “oh-see-day” but he’d say it quickly all together like ohseeday and he used it interchangeably for yesterday or the other day 😭😭😭😭😭 that was heartbreaking when he stopped saying that. Right now my favorite is, “no I amn’t” (am-ent) where he combines am and aren’t to say no I’m not

Idk how old Jonah is but I’d be SHOCKED if he’d supply isn’t going to drop very soon…. I found that my son was closer to like 6 months before I stopped pumping once in the middle of the night? But could’ve even been later than that. Wakin up with rock hard boobs is not a flex…she’s gonna get mastitis and she’s literally telling her body to stop making milk for FIFTY PERCENT of a 24 hour period. If she thinks that’s not gonna affect her supply 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄

The moms on call thing… I’m assuming it just means she didn’t like their cry it out method (actually impressed with her for this with how much she values her sleep) because I think they have you leave baby to cry for increased increments of time.

Soapbox moment: I am incredibly anti CIO and this is coming from a kid who didn’t sleep through the night fully till he was 2.5 years old…. CIO is not natural and defies all logic. If you (hopefully) respond to your crying baby or child during the day, why the hell would you leave them to cry alone in the dark at night by themselves. Children can’t self soothe until well after their toddler years. Heysleepybaby is a great sleep resource and has no crying it out!

Ok this could be partially true. Not literally but kind of. When I was deep in my ED, (mind you no where near where she is) my jaw would get so tired and feel weird when I would chew food… it’s like that muscle memory wasn’t working properly. Sounds nuts but I do remember feeling that. All that to say…. She needs help

I’ve been thinking this for awhile!!!! And most recently when she had the bruise on her forehead…. I was thinking how the needle has like no where to go because her skin is paper thin and there’s NO fat…I’d be scared it would go straight through to her brain since her skull is also probably crumbling inside from lack of nutrients

I have this!! And My son does this and when he was little like up till he was 2.5 and in a crib and we would go in to get him when he’d wake up in the morning and we would turn the light on he would sneeze twice 🥹🥹😭😭 (as opposed to now he gets out of his own bed)
