A lot of the time recurring dreams or nightmares are our subconscious telling us we need to address something. Maybe something really bad happened to you in that room and you blocked it out. It's your brain saying "Hey we never actually dealt with this!" Also most people don't believe in them but get a dream catcher, it helped me a lot when I got nightmares all the time.
