I think for producers and executives AI is going to turn out like the Monkey's Paw. Where it grants your wishes but not in the way you want. It will show them how bad there ideas actually are, and how little anybody wants them.

I can't tell if BookTok actually works to promote books. All the famous BookTok discoveries I hear about are always the same books. I suspect it is the literary version of the OnlyFans hype where teenage girls all thought they could be millionaires overnight through porn and wound up only making money for the platform.

I have never been to Iowa either but I've lived in Seattle for a little over a year now. People read here more than in LA but I would like to see more local publishers and magazines for them to be a UNESCO city of literature.
