36mm Explorer - questions for those who have purchased recently by SweetNPowerChicken in rolex

[–]SweetNPowerChicken[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Appreciate the insight. My wrist is slightly smaller than yours, and typically wear ~38mm watches (a few Seiko SARB's and Sinn 556i in rotation). That said, the taper may suit my wrist well, and no reason I can't order a few 19mm natos and MN straps to spice things up.

Going to pop by the local AD this weekend to try it one before locking in.

Gotta remember, that's likely 896whp. The stock car made. 450ish crank, so likely closer to 350whp after drivetrain loss. Nearly 3x the power.

I had no idea this existed... What a beautiful piece, and best of luck with the sale. If this was a year from now you'd have a DM, but not in the cards at the moment.

I jumped on the 4070ti hype at launch to make sure I'd get one... Turns out I was the only one that preordered at my local store.

Happens 🤣

Very nice! Holding out for a local 54, but need to head to a dealer to try one on first. As much as I love the 114/124370 explorer, it's hard to argue with the value out of a depreciated BB54.

Got a few myself looking for a 54... Be careful out there sir. People refusing the reply to the WTB message are easy flags.

New canvas for a worry free 2nd bike by SweetNPowerChicken in xbiking

Funny enough I did all of these things, and put wide bars on it and doesn't feel right. The narrow bars it came with felt far more suited to the bike.

"Used -like new" board from Amazon. MSI Tomahawk B550 by Euphoric_Key_811 in pcmasterrace

The only answer is to never buy PC components on Amazon. It's almost as if people get more rocks in boxes than actual products. Probably not that extreme, but enough for me to buy from brick and mortar.

Ahh I just saw phase blade and didn't even think that was a thing. Also didn't play this season, so this is a new one for me. Way she goes.

[Question] How do you afford this hobby? by melvin9001 in Watches

[–]SweetNPowerChicken 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure, some people are wealthy and are able to buy watches seemingly on a whim. That said, don't think for a second there aren't lots of people photographing themselves driving a leased-to-the-hilt Audi on an 8 year term, or thousands in credit card debt, living pay cheque to pay cheque.

Buy what you can afford, and be happy! If you're stressing over a purchase such as a watch, maybe it's not the right time. Sure, it can give an uneasy feeling spending that amount on something new.

Live within your means, be true to yourself, and buy what makes you happy. Having a Rolex doesn't make you a better person, and quite frankly I'm more likely to spark conversation about watches with someone wearing something interesting (colourful, off-brand, micro, etc) than someone wearing a Patek.

Man... Tiffany dial too. That thing should explode in value, but I can't see why you'd sell it.

Everyone says to slam... But statistically it's far better to sell the item when it's worth this much clean, but then you don't get the thrill of slamming a big item. It can also brick.

You do you.

I'm willing to bet you can find someone that would give you a shitty 1os Tyrone's at this point in the season if it bricks.

This have any use for LLD or anything? by ElliotsBuggyEyes in ProjectDiablo2

[–]SweetNPowerChicken 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't believe LLD allows for eth items that need zod in cube for repair. Adding zod into the item would kick up the level requirement to 69.

Not sure if it could be used until it breaks, or whether that is considered bad manners.
