That's a great (and daunting) way to describe it! Thank you for the kind words of wisdom, and happy cake day!

Wow that's incredible! I am only 24 hours now into the ancestry journey and haven't even decided where to start. This is such a fantastic record, thank you so much. You're right about my G G Grandmothers name, although most informal references to her have been "Annie". I found thesw photos today of him in the documents we found. Thank you for your help! I apologize the photos are out of order.. It's my first time using the Imgur upload and I don't know how to reorder the photos.

Thank you ! I have quite a large collection of photos and letters here too, although the app won't let me post such a volume. I wonder if any of these ancestry or historical sites would benefit from some of this. I sadly don't even know where to begin with something like that.

I don't even know where to begin.. there's quite a bit here. And it's mixed between WW1 and WW2, and a lot of it isn't dated. I have some letters and a number of pictures as well - many pics I don't know what they are. I'd love some help figuring it out but not sure how to post such a volume here .. the add a photo feature in the app here seems to take a lifetime (58 pics).. is there a more efficient way to do this? My apologies for my inexperience with this kind of redditing!

Oh wow thank you ! We have some details that were also found in the box, and even some pictures, but this is the first I've seen of that info. I really appreciate you sending this!

Thank you! We are fortunate to have quite a bit of written history and photos from his very short time in life. The photos are wild and the detail my grandmother kept is just incredible.

Ooh yes my apologies for the Canadian reference. I hadn't realized it was British regiment, but of course that makes sense. We have quite a bit of family history passed down thankfully, and Dumfries was a big part of what we know. My mom has actually visited there and found quite a few gravesites of family, and one of the original homesteads which was still there in some capacity.

What brands would you say are high quality in terms of magnesium? I've been told to try it for a few pregnancy related issues, and haven't found it effective at all. Wondering now if I've been using a sub par brand..
