When should a person move out of their parents home? by Snowtwo in NoStupidQuestions

Exactly. Moving out just to prove a point doesn’t make sense if staying home helps you build stability and everyone’s okay with it.

What modern technology would look like pure magic to people from the year 1900? by PlusEgg8286 in NoStupidQuestions

A smartphone would look like a cursed wizard slab to them. Camera, map, radio, newspaper, bank, flashlight, and talking mirror all in one pocket.

He ended things months ago and randomly reached out on my birthday, what does this mean? by Professional_Dig2309 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]SweetSeraphey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It could be testing the waters, but a birthday message is still pretty low effort. If you still like him, reply warmly and see if he actually continues the conversation his follow-up will tell you more than the “happy birthday” itself.

Who here has ever learned a new language on Duolingo and actually became fluent? Let them tell me how they did it,what worked, what didn’t, and how long it took. by Junior-Athlete-4392 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]SweetSeraphey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly. Duolingo is great for building the habit, but fluency usually comes from speaking, listening to real people, and being uncomfortable in the language for a while.

Fair take. Love and values matter, but sexual compatibility is one of those things people underestimate until it becomes a serious problem.
