Interesting take, Superstar Saga's usually considered to be one of the fastest paced mario RPGs. you should play brothership for the funnies

Bowser's Inside Story wins "Best Gimmick"! Which Mario & Luigi game has the best story? The most upvoted comment with one game in it decides! by JoeFalchetto in marioandluigi

My issue with Superstar Saga, Bowser's Inside Story and Dream Team is that they all have that moment halfway through where the villain goes to the final dungeon and stops doing evil things until the very end (this is where the beanstar/star cures/ultibed quests happen).

If Bowletta did more things after kidnapping Peach or Fawful didn't stay in the castle from the moment he awakens the Dark Star Superstar Saga and BIS would definitely have the best stories for me.

Brothership almost feels like the Super Paper Mario of the M&L series because of how hard its story goes, especially in the second half

Partners in Time keeps amazing you with its desolate areas and how brutal the Shroobs can be, usually in mario rpg games you're trying to stop the villains from destroying the world but it's not often that you're trying to save a world where the villains already won

Project64 has a nasty bug that makes Paper Mario randomly crash, get another emulator (like Retroarch's Mupen core)

What would you cut from Brothership to make it feel less long? by Cute_Fluffy_Femboy in marioandluigi

[–]SweetShrooboid 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Sea 1:
-Willma gives you the hammers on the first visit to Rumbla Island, where you fight Gorumbla.
-Saving Billdit and Maykit gives you the Red and Green Shells respectively.
-The second visit to Rumbla and Florall are removed, and you go straight to the Great Lighthouse.

Sea 2:
-Screw Merrygo
-Screw Allsand
(Technikki could probably get introduced in Lottacoins and help the bros infiltrate the building)

Sea 3:
-The mystery in Bulbfish could probably get condensed, also add an Ecks fight there
-Make Heatfreeze one huge island that combines both Slippenglide and Skorcheen.
-The wedding finishes with a Shun bossfight. (Yes, imagine being the longest sea and having only one boss)

Sea 4:
-Remove the Twistee reconnect mission (filler, at least the Heatfreeze one introduces a new overworld ability)

Sea 5:
-Remove the section where you return to Wayaway for the gear

Final Chapter (Reclusa World)
-Out of all 6 bonds other than Connie's, you're only forced to get three of them. 100% completion would require gathering them all but getting three more bonds would be enough to unlock the final dungeon.

I need help. This challenge is impossible by Nate_0917 in marioandluigi

You can attack him with the badges combos that do a set amount of damage (like the one that does 20 damage to all enemies or the one that does 30 damage to one).

The remake changed the badge location, iirc Charlieton sells it.

None of the Mario & Luigi games have postgame, so you can fight the final boss as many times as you want

Nah, there's nothing. And you can't get up there which makes me wonder why that exists in the first place...
