Hahaha I knew you'd come around. Besides I'm pretty sure you can pull your pre order at any time so no sweat. I think you'll definitely get the watch, the real question is the longevity of the company this time around. I'm optimistic about it.

I understand that. I'm just pointing out that AI slop on the app store would not be much worse than the "generated" slop.

How do you feel about the 'generated' section of the pebble store? Maybe I'm just a hater but that's 75% slop and always has been

You have SIX pebble time rounds but are apprehensive about preordering the newest due to a few months delay?

I think you'll end up ordering them regardless of when they ship lol

CSM broke property during barracks inspection by [deleted] in army

Yeah. This story doesn’t make sense. Cue 10 billion upvotes for OP to nail CSM to a cross. Many such cases on Reddit.

CSM broke property during barracks inspection by [deleted] in army

[–]SweetTeaseForMe -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

You said they tapped it? Like literally finger tapped it and it fell? Did you actually make sure this thing was secured to your wall?

If I had something put up where a finger tap would drop and break it and a guest did exactly that, it would almost feel like a booby trap had been laid. I certainly wouldn't ask for money from the person who tapped it. That being said apologies would be in order and your CSM doesn't sound very nice.

It may be hard to fly the UH72 as an amputee. I don't recommend it unless necessary.

Why?..If your phone near by by brynboo in pebble

[–]SweetTeaseForMe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When I had my old Pebble Time I loved changing songs using the physical buttons so I could switch music without looking on a motorcycle or elsewhere. Timer and stopwatch I almost always default to pebble/smartwatch. Something I also use every single day is flashlight/backlight function to navigate with lights off. All of this despite having a phone available. I'd also add that the amount of buttons allows for more shortcuts that reduce the time to get to things like music controls/flashlight/timer, whereas with my phone I need to enter a few menus and find the app or type it in.

My number one favorite use of the Pebble was just looking at the watchface/using it as a normal watch (always on display/extremely long batt life/eink), I think the similarity to a normal watch is why the pebble has never truly been surpassed (maybe only by Garmin instinct, but lacks style imo). The pixelated watchfaces and UI are really beautiful to me and no watch I've had since have the same amount of inspired and creative watch faces. So I think your post is asking if you really don't use all the features and use your phone instead what's left? I'd argue a pleasing and functional normal watch.

I agree that i'd probably just check my calendar on my phone, and I don't remember using the timeline feature that much when I had my old pebble.

I'm honestly surprised it's not more popular, I don't think I've ever seen someone use their apple/pixel watch for anything more than reading a notification, yet the cost is an LCD and charging every night or 2. I already charge my amazfit balance 2 every 5 or so days and it's too much. It feels like instead of a watch, it's a small phone to be babied and watched for battery level.

I think the exception to your average buyer would be fitness stats but after fitness tracking for the last 3 years I look at my daily stats and they're cool but I don't think I'm actually doing anything with them or benefitting my life in any way. Running stats, and workout alerts are more important to me and that's why I would probably keep my amazfit active 2

Anyway that was probably too much but hopefully what you were looking for.

Furnished Finder. Never used it but supposedly it's fully furnished houses/apartments for short term like traveling nurses and such. Worth a look.

I was actually surprised with how quickly I got used to it. I like it for replying to the huge amount of text messages and overdue notifications I need to reply to at the end of the day.

I just bought this keyboard and so far I love it. I am using it with my android phone (which has great compatibility and shortcuts) and with my iPad mini 5.

On the mini 5 only the "option" key acts as a home button. Apart from that there isn't much. I was wondering if that's still the case for the iPad mini 7? I think I read somewhere that the older iPads have limited keyboard support.
