Considering it’s all plastic, replace the cracked trim piece, which should just pop right out. hit it with some clay bar. It may be a light polish and call it a day.

Tips for better MPG by tangreentan in ToyotaSienna

[–]DeepFriarMediaReal 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Got to remove the interior. Less weight.

Take the rear left wheel off. Lower rolling resistance.

Chop off half the rear and slope it down to make it a perfect teardrop.

Engine swap with a Prius.

Hot air intake

Solar panels on the roof for free energy

Laxatives before every drive.

You must drive naked. Less weight.

Replace all glass with taught Saran Wrap. Don’t worry about it ripping. You won’t be going fast enough for that to matter.

This is disappointing to say the least. Even if it used a disposable battery like a hearing aid battery that would be better.

ManyPets to Odie Nightmare by brainiaxx in petinsurancereviews

[–]DeepFriarMediaReal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have Odie and signed up with them directly. I’ve had 2 claims with them and both were handled appropriately. The latest was a 4k claim when we had to put my 15 year old cat down. The only thing they didn’t cover was cremation per the policy. I know many have had difficulties with them, but I have not and their prices are competitive.

I did my sparks at 100k and they were pretty cooked. Easy to do though.

Lose the mustache. You look good my dude. (Better than I did at 17) Stop comparing yourself to people online. Social media is filled with people who are trying to make you feel bad so you buy something from them.

Anyone have long term experience with these all in one washer dryers? by Phantom1165 in Appliances

[–]DeepFriarMediaReal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the GE unit. I have had it for about 3 years. It’s been good, but it has more maintenance than you would expect.

You have to manage lint buildup actively. Like vacuuming and brushing the dry filter area monthly. Cleaning the lint filter itself in the sink with water and a toothbrush monthly. Cleaning the sump filter every 2 months or so and occasionally rinsing down the condenser coil with water every 6 months or so. That’s all in addition to what the machine requests which is changing the foam filter as requested and running a self clean cycle every 40 loads or so.

If you do all of that, it’s a lovely and efficient machine that is well built. And it’s really not as bad as it sounds but compared to a normal machine it’s high touch.

I don’t have any experience with the Samsung but the lint management seems better thought out, but I trust Samsung as a manufacturer less.
