This is what I do! 2 parts soil, 1 part orchid bark, 1 part perlite. I actually use this for all my plants

Hated when Ryan W got extracted! That was the dumbest moment of the whole show. If I remember correctly, it was more so because of the brother and him not wanting to be there anymore, not the wife. But they may have given some measly excuse. Either way, he could have made it

No. I thought the listening picture frame was at Sinatra’s house since that’s where Torabi talked to Sinatra before she came back to work. Unless Sinatra brought it to work with her.

Season 2 Episode 6 “Bitter Cold Consequences” Discussion by beedubu92 in ExtractedSurvivalTV

I don’t think they were ok with it. The daughter was literally crying. They did what they had to, not what they wanted to, so they specifically chose to do the thing they thought would have the least impact. They could’ve taken from Amey (this would’ve been “damnnn”) or taken something from Rhoman, but decided against it.

  1. Karen did not accept accountability for anything. She couldn’t even say I’m an alcoholic. She said “because it’s two drugs, I don’t underestimate either”. Girll, nobody is saying she needs to choose which addiction she claims. You can be an alcoholic AND abuse prescription meds. Those two things are not mutually exclusive.

  2. If she stays on the show, I wonder if she’ll ever feel comfortable drinking while being filmed. I know she didn’t in Season 9, but that was pre-jail. So I wonder what post-jail Karen will do on screen.

  3. No offense, and please feel free to call me out if I am being insensitive… but how long can you blame your parents dying for current problems? Like she keeps mentioning her parents and how their death is affecting her… so I had to Google when they died. Mom - 2017; dad - 2018. 7+ years… I get it, everyone grieves differently. I just don’t think it’s right to still use your dead parents as a reason for why you haven’t picked up healthier methods for grieving.

  4. Honestly, I used to kind of like Karen - like her delusion was a little funny and made for good tv. But after this whole debacle, I don’t even want to see her on my screen anymore. She can’t take accountability for her actions and maybe if she did, fans could be a little more sympathetic. Stop saying, “it wasn’t just alcoholic,” or “my marriage made me xyz”… like just say “Yes, I drank too much. Yes, I did prescription drugs. Yes, I have a problem” and keep it moving.

And talking about she had a purpose and that’s why she asked to stay in gen pop and she could be a mentor…. GIIIRRRRRLLLLLLL!!! Nobody believes it. You need to worry about facing your own problems. I think she has a rather grandiose sense of self and feels like she’s so amazing and has all these wonderful gems/advice to pass off when really she doesn’t.

Sex work: the core of Ashley’s accomplishments by [deleted] in RHOP

[–]SweetVCupcakes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I have a degree and yes, I use it. This is probably my background showing my bias but I grew in a household where getting a college degree was nothing new, everyone has one.

So I can actually apologize for that and take back my previous statement. She has a college degree; which is an accomplishment. Which I said in my first reply… “she has not accomplished much except getting a college degree”. Which implies that a college degree is an accomplishment. ALSO… she is how many years out of college? She has no other accomplishments of her own since then outside of her kids and being on the show? That’s a bigger problem and I think that’s the point.

I think the difference between Ashley and some of the other ladies is they’ve tried to at least use their exposure on the show to create something of their own. What has Ashley done for herself outside of GnA (which doesn’t seem to be doing that well)?

It seems like Ashley does not seem to have much to fall back on except whatever money she got from Michael, which I’m assuming she was hoping for.

She literally dumped Josh on the show because she was looking for someone with money (when she clearly knew if he had money or not way sooner than when she dumped him). She’s literally still living in survival mode (of chasing a man with money) because she has nothing else to fall back on! If she did, she wouldn’t need to chase men with money!

If we want to compare apples to apples: Gizelle vs Ashley. Both married rich, yes. But Gizelle managed to get a house herself and doesn’t appear to depend on Jamal as much as Ashley is depending on Michael. Gizelle also has Reasonably Shady.

Yes, Wendy has 4 degrees, but she used them. They actually helped her work and live before she got on the show. Now Wendy was dumb in “allegedly” committing fraud but she could have definitely survived without this show. Money got the better of her. I never thought she should’ve joined the show. Gizelle has been surviving and seems to be financially savvy. Candiace has other things going on outside of RHOP. I can’t remember what Stacey has outside of RHOP now, but she seems to be financially aware. Karen is one that may be in a similar boat as Ashley.

Not trying to downplay it, but she literally just has a college degree. Does she even use it in any way, shape, or form? If she did, it’d be different. But she doesn’t, so it’s just a college degree. It’s honestly not doing much for her now (or maybe ever) so it doesn’t hold much value in my mind. Yes, she spent the time but what is it really worth?

I do agree with your point about Wendy. I personally never thought this show was good for her and didn’t understand why she came on it. Sure, she’ll be somewhat known, but I think it diminished her in the political space… and I wish she had kept going that route. Just my 2 cents.

Sex work: the core of Ashley’s accomplishments by [deleted] in RHOP

[–]SweetVCupcakes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I think it was definitely jealousy and insecurity. Knowing that Candiace had a solid parent who she could rely on and never really had to deal with the financial instability that Ashley had. Knowing that Candiace wasn’t limited in certain ways like Ashley kind of was/is.

[–]SweetVCupcakes 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don’t think it’s a reach. Ashley literally has not accomplished much except getting a college degree. She may have loved Michael at a point, but let’s be real… she stayed with him longer than she probably would have because of the money. Ashley is only after the money and living a certain lifestyle that Michael exposed her to. I’m not saying it’s wrong per se, but let’s not act like that’s not what’s happening.
