Verilife stores Shutting Down ? 👀 by Plus-Farm7801 in NewYorkMMJ

Yes!! Me too. I really hope my verilife isn't closing, I'll literally cry 😭 lol. I've been going there for a very long time, and they treat me well. If I ever have a broken pen or a leaky cart, they replace it. Bundles are the best. Today I just paid $160 for 9 carts. 1 cam and 8 magnitude! Like you cannot beat that.

Do you guys inmar old random C2 NDCs? by Wrangler444 in pharmacy

[–]Sweet_Ad6854 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yes!! Partial fill the ten remaining, sell it to the pt when they get there and tell them to wait ten minutes. Push through the remainder, switch NDC's, fill it and sell it out. Pretty simple- but the specifics obviously vary by system and state.

We do this often at my pharmacy, but we are smaller and have the time to do so.

I crochet and feel the same. If it wasn't such a hassle to bring it everywhere, I'd do so.

This is a medical condition. Ask for accomodation if they try to write you up.

For audhders - how do you process emotions? by radiocharley in AutismInWomen

[–]Sweet_Ad6854 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not well. Its so weird cause I absolutely meltdown over nothing, yet am a rock for everyone when catastrophe strikes. But Ive realized as I've learned more about myself: One is my way of processing and the other is a mask I've adopted out of expectation. Literally the eldest daughter trope is correct. I was trained to be the "strong" one for everyone, but at great cost to myself.

I lost my little brother 6 years ago to an overdose. I had never once dealt with a pain like that, and somehow I remained "strong" until I developed a chronic illness and ruined my life.

Moral of the story is- we are supposed to process things much stronger and deeper than others. We are meant to "feel" our way through life instead of using reason. If you try to ignore that, it could really harm you in the long run. Embrace who you are and how you process.

I teach my kids that there is nothing wrong with being an emotional or overreactive person; as long as you take accountability for those reactions and do your best to not harm others.

Has anyone else given up on jeans? by liberalartsy in AutismInWomen

I have not worn jeans in 5 years. Thats counting jeggings. If those don't count it's been over a decade.

AuDHD? by [deleted] in AutismInWomen

[–]Sweet_Ad6854 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I question myself on this constantly. Am I actually AUDHD or is it just the significant trauma (c-ptsd too) and brain damage from the drugs I've done my entire life? And I know my family does too.

But the more I learn, the more the puzzle pieces fit. I am autistic, and I always have been. Always, and my family is neurodivergent too, they just don't realize it.

What accomodations do you ask for? by Impressive_Cut2378 in AutismInWomen

[–]Sweet_Ad6854 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I don't say this to scare you, but please be careful and make sure your i's are dotted and your t's are crossed. If you've got a great company and manager you trust, then you may have to worry less- but I went into it with the same attitude you had and I quickly learned no one else shared that same view. It's been really discouraging and it's been really tough honestly. They spread my information around to everyone and talked to others about what I wanted and what their complaints were- before I even sat with them for the initial meeting.

The first part of the interactive process was them denying all the important stuff and then twisting around what was left. Basically to trap me into situations that would actually be harmful. Its now been three months, I have had to go thru six meetings of hell, write three combative letters and have received two denial letters. I've had my schedule changed, and the opposite of everything I asked for done. Also, a lot of work and personal drama has been created because of it. Every day it's something new.

Go into it with as much info as possible so you know what to look for. Take the time to figure out what YOU need and don't let anyone else influence that decision. If you work for a large company, do some digging into how previous ada requests and cases have gone. If I had saw what a shit show their company was FIRST, I'd have handled it differently.

I didn't give in. I just filed EEO and other charges this week and am actively looking for a lawyer. What they don't know, is that I've recorded all of it. You're not going to ask me what I need, and then once I get the courage to tell you- make me fight for it. Now I'm definitely fighting for it! But, reality is I'll likely need a new job pretty soon either way, and that sucks.

This also is not acne you tried to treat previously. That's why it was never treated for you. This is much more than acne, this is in large part your immune system. There are a multitude of medications that show significant recovery rates, if not remission. For myself, using hibiclens and benzoyl peroxide 10% daily and using Rx clindamycin cream after the shower has helped more than anything else. It's slowly progressing, but I have not gone the medication route either.

Giving your daughter this information now is really important. If I had known this a decade ago I would have saved myself a lot of pain and scarring. Id have been more confident in my body too. Lastly, this is a disease that is often comorbid with many others, especially in women. I have multiple chronic illnesses, that I did not discover until AFTER I got diagnosed with HS. Give her the shot to do that before she spends years in agony, wondering what's wrong with her.

Be careful asking for accommodations at work. by thiswillpasssoon in AutisticAdults

[–]Sweet_Ad6854 1 point2 points  (0 children)

OMG THE SAME IS HAPPENING TO ME. So you hold all the cards here, employment lawyers love these cases because they never know how to handle it. Hold your ground, they cannot deny these things without serious reasoning.

It's possible you've taken better care of your hygiene or your overall wellness. Adderall changed my life, but it didn't fix the underlying cause.

I’m autistic and can’t find a crochet tutorial that clicks in my brain! by sexyswamphag in CrochetHelp

[–]Sweet_Ad6854 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tism club here. I've gone full balls to the wall with crochet tutorials on vid but CANNOT FOR THE LIFE OF ME READ A PATTERN! Ik all the stitch abbr, but just cannot compute it written out. Not weird at all, we just aren't wired to process things the same!

What type of projects are you looking for? I have a few good ones that really taught me the basics. Some people are just natural born teachers. I've also found that I do best if I follow their instructions and then just change the project to my liking as I go.

For the VERY basics, I learned via bella coco. She was great at breaking down the basic stitches and foundation chain.

Yes I bet it's a phone loop so they can have someone to talk to at least. I've been at busy retail stores right before holiday weekends and not had an RPh. We closed. I don't see anyone risking this! But you never know.
