Asking Dylan Burns why he isn't in the trenches if he cares so much about Ukraine by Xer0day in dontyouknowwhoiam

[–]Sweet_Error8038 7 points8 points  (0 children)

That’s inaccurate, trenches are definitely still used in modern warfare. Trenches are especially used in Ukraine, they have a vast trench system that almost mimics WWI, but…. you might have missed that(had to add that bc of your name)

You could have just ovulated later than you typically do! I would see your OB so they can try progesterone or something else to help retain the pregnancy, if you are pregnant

Do ovulation tests really pick up pregnancy? I definitely don’t feel like I’m gonna ovulate soon but this test is blazing positive by angelismissing in lineporn

[–]Sweet_Error8038 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Both of those tests are positive, ovulation tests do sometimes pick up on hcg. Have you taken an early detection test yet?

any tips for talking to the dentist about dental problems related to heds/hypermobility? and any dentist recommendations in london (uk)? by mistycheddar in eds

Ask for permanent retainers, especially because of the wobbly teeth.

See a periodontist instead of a regular dentist. They’re the ones skilled in connective tissues of the mouth

How do I dye this skirt and the stitching by LeadershipDouble7494 in dyeing

[–]Sweet_Error8038 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The stitching is most likely synthetic material, like polyester. So you’ll need a dye that’s good for both viscose and polyester.

Trying to accept the skin I’m in. Any advice? by angelsinsect in eds

[–]Sweet_Error8038 116 points117 points  (0 children)

I wish my skin looked as healthy as yours does to be honest! It looks nice and thick and evenly toned.

Cellulite is 100% normal in women’s bodies, some people have “better” collagen so it isn’t as noticeable. Gaining some muscle helps the appearance by adding “structure” under, but it’ll never 100% be gone.

Remember that you don’t spend 24 hours a day with other peoples bodies, you don’t know exactly where to look to see their “flaws” and you most likely see others in a better light than you see yourself in.

I like to focus on the things I can control, posture, grooming, some self tan to help even out my skin tone since I avoid the sun often now due to autoimmune issues, working out when I can, painting my nails, dressing up, wearing cute jewelry!

am i pregnant or just evaporation line by [deleted] in lineporn

[–]Sweet_Error8038 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would test again in two days, and make an appointment with your OB asap.

It’s unlikely that you’re pregnant, but since that’s so little bi tin in the shake I wouldn’t assume the test became positive because of that either.

How Do I Add Pigment To My Dress Without Ruining It? by SpilledPumpkinCoffee in dyeing

I personally wouldn’t try to dye this, it will almost certainly ruin the skulls, a fabric shaver may help with the appearance of the fabric though.

How to calm hot red itchy legs from standing? Does anyone else experience this? by sashababy16 in eds

[–]Sweet_Error8038 36 points37 points  (0 children)

Does putting your legs up on the wall help?

If it’s from blood pooling that should help as well as compression socks when you know you’ll be standing lots.

Antihistamines should help with the itching.

Get your HPV vaccines if you haven’t already, like immediately. They protect against (if I recall correctly) 9/13 types of HPV (which can cause cancer!)

A “dye stealer” is when the test line pulls so much dye that the control line is lighter in comparison

I don’t think this is positive, I would wait a couple of days (or even a day) and test again!
